Trying to cancel a direct debit, even for someone who has passed away, is impossible. They even request to see the will, which is private and none of their business. Can you believe they block cancellation requests for deceased individuals? We have canceled many direct debits for this family member; every other company offered condolences and complied, except this one. They are the only ones who refused and asked for the will. It's absurd to think someone would leave money to a gambling company. Stay away at all costs. In further response: They are dishonest and deceitful. They now act like they have a proper process in place, but they actually asked to see if the deceased left them money in their will. This is a gambling company regulated by the gambling commission. Who would think someone would leave money to a gambling company in their will? It's completely unethical and has caused our family considerable distress. DO NOT trust anything they say.
