Review Time
I ordered an oxygen concentrator and paid a significant amount for it, with a promise of delivery on Friday. That never happened, and I couldn't get in touch with the support team despite sending multiple emails. Eventually, I received a response a week later stating they would process a refund, but nothing has occurred since. It feels like they have perfected the art of scamming.
First off. I am a tenant of 5 years with Holt writing this review. Not an employee. I am not saying anymore . I'm sick of fighting with this company. I can't change how a company does it's business. I have to adapt that this is how it is these days. And adapt to itDoes not mean that I'm losing my own values of honesty courtesy communication and care . Holt has .not my problem . Moving onI would not want to move into a Holt Property expecting a good outcome however. Future residents
The positive:The hotel is very clean and has a beautiful, modern design. We stayed in a renovated room with a spacious and comfortable bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay. The highlight was Elizabeth, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive—she truly saved the experience.The negative:Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience even before arriving. We were told that our payment hadn’t gone through, even though we checked with our bank and everything was fine. We attempted to pay through their online link, but their platform wasn’t working properly—it allowed us to input card information, but there was no “submit” button to complete the payment.Upon arrival, we discovered there was no physical front desk—everything had to be done online or over the phone, which was extremely inefficient. We received a rather hostile message stating that if we didn’t pay immediately, our reservation would be canceled. We were more than willing to pay in person, but they didn’t accept cash and didn’t have a card terminal, which is unacceptable for a place that advertises itself as a hotel, not an Airbnb.While already at the hotel, speaking on the phone with Fernanda, we tried to input our payment information 3 or 4 more times using their “Pago Fácil” link, and it still didn’t work. They offered no alternatives, and simply repeated the same instructions without acknowledging the fault in their system.Frustrated and tired, my husband decided we should cancel the reservation and find a hotel where we could pay without all these complications. As we walked down the street looking for another place and a taxi, we suddenly received a text message saying the charge had miraculously gone through. Around that time, Elizabeth came running to catch up with us and kindly helped with our bags. We are very grateful for her professionalism and warmth.My husband still felt disrespected by the way we were treated, so he spoke with Fernando from their phone support team to explain how upset he was. We were told they would do something to make it up to us—but we never heard from them again.Conclusion:We will never stay with HOLT again. The experience was entirely unprofessional and unethical. We travel frequently—at least 4 times a month—and have never had issues booking through Expedia. This made us feel like we didn’t know how to use a platform, when the problem was clearly theirs.There are plenty of better hotels in the area, with better locations, better prices, and most importantly, a real front desk with real people ready to assist you in person.
This was my first time booking with HOLT The property, I stayed at, in Bucherest, is managed securely, and efficiently by them and the staff made my stay very welcoming and I felt safe and assured as they kept in touch regularly, ensuring that I knew all the house rules.Would definitely recommend properties they manage.
The location is perfect and the room is just awesome and specious BUT... We were staying in the hotel for six days and after our room was not cleaned for three days have called the reception. At this moment we were told that our booking doesn't include cleaning and that out of curtesy and since we are staying for six days they agree to exchange the towels.Never heard that the 4 star hotel needs a special arrangement to clean the room after three days! And well, when they exchanged the towels the old ones were even not picked up, just the clean towels pilled up on a chair. Very unpleasant for a whole six days stay, Not worth the 4 stars rating.
Dishonest people and thieves that don't care if they take money from a customer that was deceived by their misleading marketing as 5 stars hotel on google maps that shows what they input at google business. Requested a refund 2 months earlier of the reservation date, and these people, that are not in Romania, denied refund. They're are happy to withholding the money from customer.They've nothing to do with 5 stars hotel. It's just apartments with nobody there, and no services at all.I regret having to deal with these crooks.
My family and I came to Oaxaca for a wedding and this hotel was perfect for us and our group of friends. The rooms were clean, spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast was a treat each morning, enjoyed in the dining room or outside in the courtyard. The staff made us feel welcome and safe. The location was an easy walk to restaurants, cafes and sights. Our favorite spots nearby were Bodaega for coffee and pastries, Cabuche for healthy lunch and pozole, and the Centro Cultural San Pablo to hang out in the garden, buy handicrafts and have a drink.
This apartment was absolutely incredible. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly spacious, offering a true sense of luxury. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making it one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The atmosphere was both elegant and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier experience.
