This "shop" is a complete scam. Can get my order for 3 weeks now and they always reply with made up stories. So, I've decided to check Trustpilot and found that I'm not alone. Waiting for a refund via Paypal. Important - do not close Paypal dispute because you'll be not able to open it again. That why they immediately ask you to close it as soon as Paypal reached out to them. Good luck.

Similar to others I have paid for product but using PayPal. I have not received the product and PayPal have no record of the transaction despite me receiving an receipt email from Paypal. I have tried email, text and calling but no response, I have raised a case with the competition and consumer protection commission. Received notification of a refund from PayPal today (15th Aug 2025). I would suggest staying well clear of the hassle I have experienced.It would appear that fake reviews are subbmitted also
Worst Customer service. It's very interesting the reviews here are either 5 or 1, no middle of the road. I had to open a PayPal dispute to get any traction on my multiple emails that were met with 1 liner scant responses.I'm so disappointed as I always insist on buying local & being from Galway was really excited to support a Galway company.But they couldn't give a crap about customer service, so why not give a dismal review.Lucky ye, who gave the 5 star reviews. That was what I was really hoping for.
Great service, no issues at all. Very nice on the phone too. I bought 168 euros worth of goods. A new beer brewing fermentation kit, some premium spray malts and yeasts and some beer kits too. One of the kits that comes with the pack wasn't available so I was provided with premium advice on what I could be offered close to my order. They even threw in some sanitiser and carbonation drops for free.One recommendation I would have for them is to update their supply of beer kits. Seems like alot of out of stock stuff up for sometime. However they may have been cleared out over the Christmas period.Thanks againSpencerThanks HomeBrew West
Iv had nothing but good experiences with them. They use DPD to deliver and havnt had any package that was late. All items iv purchased are great and the one time I had issues with two brewing kits they resolved the issue in a timely and friendly manner.
Ordered products in October. After 5 weeks and numerous emails I still have not received my purchases. Cannot get any response from company. I would strongly advise avoiding home brew west. They appear to be absolute chancers. I may have to resort to legal action.
