I purchased a pre-wired Stratocaster wiring harness and pack of Swannell Guitars Ground Bugs. The wiring harness arrived promptly and was beautifully presented and the quality of the parts and wiring was excellent. Everything fitted perfectly and the Ground Bugs provide a quick and easy way to connect ground wires, negating the need to solder to pot casings. Highly recommended.
Brilliant personal service as always from an expert in his field.I like the way he appreciates us older chaps do like our traditional strat (in my case) arrangements and tone but was able to offer modern innovations that I didn’t know about to deliver them, apparently my Strat now has a daddy long legs in it ! as well as an upgraded harness, switch, cap etc !! … and his solder work is the best I’ve ever seen … any USA custom shop could learn a lot here !
Awesome wiring for three of my guitars. Super dependable, the guitars sound better and proper tapering on the left handed pots. Highly recommended and superb fast service and communication. I ordered the product (a wiring harness that is made to order) over the Christmas period, knowing that the very helpful website had posted that work would not re-start until 2 January. As the Home of Tone is often busy, I was hoping to receive the harness sometime during the following week. I was surprised and delighted for it to arrive just a few days later. It was excellently packaged, had great supporting documentation (the website is also full of good stuff), and works perfectly. I really recommend their work and would buy from them again.
I didn't believe a wiring loom would make such a difference...but it did. Also, the little mod that James suggest for an HSS Strat produces a far more usable tone than splitting the coils/coil tap. To add to that James is a genuinely nice and helpful guy...what's not too like!
