Review Time
Instead of replacing our kitchen, we decided to modernise it with new compact laminate worktops from House of Worktops. We are really happy with the final result, but we encountered a few issues in the process. As our design was not straightforward it required many messages between us and the company in order to ensure the correct cuts were made. Our fitter was very precis and was unhappy that some pieces were between 1 and 3 mm difference to the plans submitted however, he managed to work around it and make adjustments. Two pieces had not been cut at all so we returned the lengths with the delivery drivers for the cuts to be made according to the plans submitted. These were returned to us by FedEx with in a few days.
On a positive note communication with the company was good, with messages generally responded to quickly.
If you choose to order from them we would suggest the following
1) If emailng do check which department you are contacting as sometimes emails were not passed on to the correct section.
2) Double check measurements before the delivery drivers depart incase any pieces need to be returned.
3) if any pieces are not accurate get a photo with a measure in place to evidence this.
The response when we raised the issues was swift and helpful, so overalll we would recommend this company and would use them again.
Beautiful worktop delivered by the team - they truly put in a lot of effort! I purchased two 2m prime oak worktops along with two 3m oak backsplashes. They aren't installed yet, but once they are, I plan to create a video review to highlight the quality of these pieces.
The worktop arrived much sooner than I thought it would. The oak quality is exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The delivery team was fantastic, going above and beyond. Thank you all; I will certainly use this service again.
