Unexpected Charges and Lack of Communication

After my initial contact through a search engine, I was informed that a refundable AU$1 was necessary. I do not recall agreeing to a monthly charge of AU$75 from my PayPal account. I feel I did not receive adequate information during my initial inquiry regarding a problem I can't even remember, and I would never consent to such a high monthly fee for potential future issues. To my surprise, I noticed AU$75 withdrawn from my PayPal account on November 3rd and December 3rd. I have also seen a partial refund of AU$38 on December 3rd that has yet to appear in my bank account. I have reached out to the support team about an additional refund of AU$112 and am currently waiting for a reply. Additionally, I have canceled any further payments through my PayPal account.

Beware of this scam

I encountered a scam while seeking customer support for a dating service. They asked for a $1 fee, which was supposed to be refundable, to chat with a live representative. However, I later noticed that my bank statement showed an additional charge of $38. When I reached out to their support team, they offered a partial refund of only $20. I am extremely frustrated by this experience. They failed to resolve my issue with the dating service.

I Had signeded up for this

I Had signeded up for this, thinking it was ONLY a $1.00 that I would gt refunded for. Turns out even after writing themasking for my subscription to be cancled, I was still charged for a second time, $38.00. I'm living off disablity and can't afford this but they still would not reimburse me after I called, Hope this review helps someone else to not fall for it!!

Changed my mind about howly after a good experience with customer service.

I possibly misunderstood how Howly works and got very upset when I was charged for a full subscription.I contacted Howly and they agreed to refund the subscription. The response was kind and understanding. I'm impressed by their customer service.
