I got a call from a very effeminate guy called Brentt. I was excited as I thought somone was genuinely interested in my car, sent me a link to a website to do a HPI check. The minute saw the website I knows it was a scam, website was really cheap looking. I told “Brentt” that I wasn’t comfortable paying for anything when I’m the one selling the car and hung up.

A scam as articulately pointed out by everyone else on here. "Brent" was pushy and insisted we use this site. I suspect at least a way to get £20 out of everyone who does, but more likely some form of Phishing attempt to harvest card details on a dodgy website. Now blocked them and secured my accounts.
Total scam… I got a lady calling herself Jane rather than the guy, Brent. As with others, the call came following my advertising my car in Autotrader. the call xame from a Liverpool dialling code and then she said she was in Exeter. Lots of pressure for me to hurry and use this site so she could buy the car first thing in the morning. When I used a reputable Hpi provider, I heard no more from this ‘enthusiastic buyer’
SCAM!!!! advertised my car on Auto Trader yesterday, get a call from BRENT this morning wanting to view the car, but gets very pushy about going on this website to get a HPI report. Something didn't feel right, so search the website first and read all the comments below which match my own experience. Thank you to everyone that did the reviews as you saved me from also being scammed!Brent, if your reading this... Nice Try
