Hyper Island tools and methodology

I had heard from some Alumni that HYPER ISLAND is great for improving soft skills by not just helping the tools but also by creating a mindset. however, I didn't really have an idea of how that works. Until today that I tried this exercise on the toolbox. Called: Coaching Yourself! It was very interesting for me because it helps break the cycle of overthinking a problem and catastrophizing it by asking yourself: What can I change/improve? there are other tools that I found on their website that could be used for teams as well. And I'm thinking if this methodology is helpful for me then it will definitely helps teams work better. I'm looking forward to check some courses related to teamwork as well. They'll be very helpful if they follow the same methodology.

The methodology was very participative…

The methodology was very participative and the facilitators super knowledgeable. I enjoyed connecting with others, learning about their perspectives. The times worked amazingly for me.I wish there was a second part for the same group to go deeper on what we've learned. Maybe having a small project to help us think how can we share all of the content back to our organisations would be great

Leading Teams

I joined Leading Teams as a fairly new leader, feeling a bit unsure if I was “doing it right. This course helped me slow down, reflect, and actually understand what kind of leader I want to be – not just what I’m supposed to do.It’s clearly designed with newer leaders in mind, with lots of practical tools and real conversations about things like team dynamics, conflict, and feedback. At the same time, I honestly think anyone would grow from it – there was always another layer if you wanted to go deeper personally. One of the best parts was the international group. We had people from many different countries and backgrounds, which made every discussion richer. Hearing how leadership and teamwork play out in other cultures was super eye-opening.The facilitators created a very safe, down-to-earth atmosphere. No ego, no jargon – just honest questions, good methods, and space to try things out. I left with more confidence, some very concrete tools, and a much better sense of how it actually feels to be led by me.Would definitely recommend if you’re stepping into a leadership role and want to grow in a real, human way.

It exceeded my expectations

Hyper Island truly exceeded everything I imagined. The learning journey is incredibly well-structured and fully aligned with the needs of today’s work environment, covering both hard and soft skills. The staff made me feel supported every step of the way, and being part of such a diverse international community was incredibly inspiring. What I really loved about the experience was that it was taught by professionals from the industry, not just teachers. They brought their experience and shared insights I could immediately apply to my work.Highly recommended, I’ll likely come back for another course in the future.

A practical and reflective experience in team leadership

I joined the Leading Teams course in November 2025, and overall it was a positive and meaningful experience, especially on a human level. What I appreciated most was the mix of people in the group. Having participants with different roles, backgrounds, and perspectives made the conversations richer and more grounded in real-life situations. This diversity helped surface insights that I probably wouldn’t have reached on my own and really enriched the discussions and reflections.A strong highlight of the course was the focus on group reflection. There was plenty of space to share experiences, listen to others, and learn from how different people approach leadership challenges. That openness and collaborative atmosphere felt very aligned with the way many of us try to work in our day-to-day environments. The overall structure of the sessions worked well for me. The timing felt balanced—long enough to stay engaged without becoming overwhelming. I also valued that the course offered practical methods you can actually apply when leading a team, rather than staying purely theoretical.

A Deep Dive into Brand Strategy & Storytelling: A Strategist’s Perspective

As a marketing strategist with several years of experience, I am always looking for programs that go beyond surface-level theory. The Brand Strategy & Storytelling course at Hyper Island exceeded my expectations by offering a radical shift in how we approach brand building in a crowded digital landscape.Learning from the Best: One of the major highlights of the program was the teacher, Iñaki Escudero. His ability to break down complex psychological triggers and narrative structures into actionable frameworks was invaluable. Iñaki doesn’t just teach storytelling; he demonstrates how to use it as a strategic tool to build trust and long-term brand equity.Key Takeaways for Senior Marketers: This course is perfect for those who want to move away from "transactional" marketing. We focused heavily on:- The Mentor Brand Framework: Shifting the brand from being the "hero" to the "guide."- Narrative Design: Using the "Story Spine" and other Pixar-inspired tools to create emotional resonance.- Practical Application: Hyper Island’s experiential learning methodology meant I could apply these strategies to my current clients in real-time.Final Verdict: If you are a strategist or creative leader looking to sharpen your edge, this course is a must. It provides a unique blend of brand strategy, human-centric design, and narrative psychology. It has definitely provided me with a fresh set of tools to elevate the brand identities I work on every day.

Future skills masterclass

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I attended five intense, inspiring days with Hyper Island diving into AI and future skills — and wow. Stockholm + participants and trainers from Europe and the Americas = great energy and perspectives from day one.Very hands-on and very real: learning by doing, working on our own examples, exchanging knowledge and sharing experiences. Smart, practical, and genuinely exciting. If this is the future of learning, I’m in!
