I want to warn fellow creatives to use this platform!
If you'll encounter any technical issues or need help in any way to proceed with your plan, customer service is pretty much non existing, they always answer eventually but always too late. I was supposed to launch my campaign mid February, postponed it to late February to wait for their assistance, but sine they still haven't helped me I'm now moving this campaign to kickstarter instead. I'm deeply frustrated that I have to change the dates of my recording plans and redo the preparation work on another platform. Hope this can warn somebody to go through the same!
I am extremely let down. The service does not take action against creators who blatantly violate their terms of use. After supporting a campaign for over $500 and waiting patiently through three years of delays, the creator has chosen to ignore backers, and the platform has done nothing. What is the point of having terms of use that require ongoing communication if creators can act poorly without consequences, leaving backers with no options? This experience has severely undermined my trust in crowdfunding, and I doubt I will ever support another campaign on this platform.

I'm unable to log in; my password isn't working. No worries, I tried the 'forgot password' option to receive a reset email, but I never got one, despite filling out the form numerous times. I'm completely locked out and can't reach out for help or access my backed campaigns.
The concept behind this platform is solid, but it has a serious lack of protections for backers against scams and dishonest projects. While crowdfunding is a great idea, it's expected that some legitimate projects may fail to deliver. However, honest projects keep their backers informed throughout, even in disappointing outcomes. Unfortunately, on this platform, it's far too common for projects to take funds and then vanish without any communication. Even seemingly legitimate projects can disappear without fulfilling their promises. This is the core issue—the platform allows bad actors to operate freely, which harms those trying to run genuine campaigns. I would strongly advise against backing anything here, as the risk of scams is alarmingly high.
Imagine investing 200 hours and thousands of dollars following all recommended steps to succeed on a platform built on trust. Then, they announce changes that feel questionable but assure you they will benefit you. You share your campaign widely and tell investors to hold tight, believing you'll succeed. When you finally launch, you find your campaign is a dead link. Support suggests 'starting over,' which is laughable. All that time and money wasted, and you’re stuck with a dead link in print media and a flood of confused emails. You’re forced to switch to a more reliable platform, but the losses can’t be recovered as you planned everything for a specific timeline and lost many supporters. In a fair world, the platform would compensate me, but now I must come to terms with how they mishandled everything in just a few days. Their current spending on 'support' is futile and should have been directed toward improvements before this disaster. The only other service I dislike this much is another well-known platform.
I'm running a campaign and facing ridiculous issues with the platform. Since the recent upgrade, I can't see who has backed the campaign or what perks they have. There's no technical support, no service level agreement on requests, and no local customer service.
