A disappointing phone call from their Waterlooville branch on the 28th February 2026, when I decided to call a halt to a property I was considering buying.

The phone call wanted to know my reasons for withdrawing from the purchase, as it had cost their client money. I had already e-mailed the branch and told them that the search pack ordered by my solicitor's had in my view taken far too long. In addition to this I had personal reasons for withdrawing. One of them being that I was finding it increasingly difficult to go up and down stairs.

I considered it quite rude, that during the phone call I was told that I had pulled out of buying a property before with them a few years ago. That is totally irrelevant.

I explained that in the past I had forked out for a survey on a property, only for the seller to sell it to someone else as it was taking too long. Evidently the seller had found another buyer who could do the transaction quicker. I put this down to my solicitor possibly being too slow. It happens at times and is no one’s fault.

In this particular case I have to pay solicitor's fees. The person at Jeffries said, yes but you are the buyer! Yes, I replied, I have no problem with that, I will have to take the hit. Make of that what you will, but I know how I interpreted what was said to me.

Awful experience especially with Harry…

Awful experience especially with Harry at the north end branch, put my property with another estate agents , then threats of we introduced all these fictous people, well won't be recommended Jeffries to my all my family and friends.

What a waste of time

What a waste of time, I am a investor wanting to buy a property.. they want to know every single thing before you view... Good luck selling your property with this crowd..

I honestly could not recommend using Jeffries Waterlooville enough. Rio and his team gave 5* service from start to finish on the selling of his property in Purbrook due to going sadly to a nursing home. If it wasn’t through Rio constantly being on the ball with all relevant parties unlike @Andrew & Andrew solicitors Emsworth! We would have had the chain collapse and lost our sale. Deposit Scammers

They would take 95% of your deposit after setting you up with inventory setup in the house and stupid reasons, the house is first set up to take your deposits, there are stupid paintings in every room if you taken them down or switch position with them, they will take your deposits away, there are many broken inventory left in the house, since they are broken they cannot be used and they will charge you because the top of the inventory items are 'dusty', they charge for mattress cleaning after finding a single hair piece on the mattress. The list goes on and on. -£2000

Fantastic estate agents!

I had the pleasure of working with Adam, Harry & Holly at Jeffries Portsmouth. They really went above and beyond to help us successfully sell our house!
