After engaging with this company, I began receiving an unusually high volume of unsolicited calls, which raises serious concerns about how customer data is handled. It appears that personal information may be shared or sold to third parties. I strongly advise others to be cautious before providing any contact details. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services due to these data privacy concerns and overall poor business practices.
Got Jerry under the impression that it would find the cheapest renters insurance for me. Once I got the insurance advertised, I hoped to get a confirmation of coverage so that I could move into the apartment the next day. After countless chats with bots telling me that it would take 2-3 business days to get th declaration (for a policy that started that same day), I finally got the declaration . The problem was that it listed the wrong address for the landlord. Fed up, I went and independently searched some major players for insurance, and the first company I got a quote with (State Farm) offered a quote that would be 2/3 the price of my policy with Jerry, and it promised it would give a confirmation that same day, and it sure did. Honestly, I’m pretty disgusted with Jerry, the marketing is misleading, impossible to get ahold of an agent, the coverage is expensive, I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
I had a very disappointing experience with Jerry AI. Despite being informed through the app that I would not be charged because my policy could not be purchased, my credit card was fraudulently charged $912.63 by a third party called Blue Fire, which Jerry has chosen to partner with. Blue Fire has a reputation for unauthorized charges, and unfortunately, I became another victim. I immediately contacted Jerry customer service to resolve the issue and request a refund. After initial contact, they promised to connect me with a specialist, but I was subsequently ghosted — no follow-up, no status update, and no resolution. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. I strongly caution others about this company and its partners. If I don't receive a prompt refund and response, I will be forced to escalate through consumer protection agencies and legal channels. This has been a frustrating and stressful experience overall.
The worst place ever five weeks of messing me around online with AI stuff and then cancel my insurance after I paid him for the first day do not shop your guys you’re gonna get so much stress take hours out of your work week. These guys are terrible.
This is a bait and switch site. I requested a quote and they wanted to follow up with a call. On the call we reviewed the info I put into the app and the agent sent it for a quote. She gave me the numbers and emailed the confirmed quoted info. In the email, I followed the link provided to see the quote in the app. The numbers were way higher and the coverages did not match my request nor did they match what I relayed to the agent. When I complained in the app chat, I was told "Well, that's how insurance works". What? Like I said, bait and switch. Don't use Jerry.ai it's a big scam.
Very easy to compare and purchase several different insurances very easily You are able to speak with a representative quickly to answer any questions. Insurance shopping made incredibly easy. Also a bonus is you are able to keep up with work done, documents, recalls, value of vehicle, etc.
