Despite the departure being approximately 40 minutes late everything else went smoothly. We had pre ordered a meal and it was served promptly. We made up some time on flight and there was a smooth landing at Leeds/Bradford airport. Looking forward to our next flight later this year.

Because we didn't call a GP in Marrakech at the time, they effectively don't care. Our whole family were dreadfully ill, we reported to reception at the hotel and on our return but they are just not interested that more than half our holiday was ruined.

I am writing having just returned from our annual family holiday booked with you, ref , booked under my surname at Barcelo Palmeraie Oasis Resort in Marrakech, from 10th to 17th February. We toiled over choosing the hotel with a number of options available but settled on Barcelo owing to the great reviews and our knowledge of the brand.



The first few days were excellent, but unfortunately our experience was overshadowed by illness affecting us all.

My husband experienced a very upset stomach and diarrhoea for 36 hours starting on the evening of 13th February which lasted 24 hours.

Following that I experienced vomiting that started overnight on 15th February and lasted around 24 hours.

Our youngest daughter (6 years old) experienced vomiting overnight on 16th February, this lasted a little over 12 hours.

Our eldest daughter (10 years old) then succumbed experiencing vomiting on the return flight on 17th February again lasting more than 24 hours. I would like to record our thanks to the crew on board the return flight to Leeds who were very kind, providing sickness bags and water for her. They also told us that they’d heard about other cases of this kind of illness recently too.



Our holiday was all inclusive, and we ate exclusively at the hotel, from the buffet restaurant for meals, with drinks from there and the pool bar during the day.

As I hope you’ll appreciate, this bout of illness caused considerable distress for us as a family and ruined the latter half of the holiday, causing loss of sleep, separation during the day, missed meals, and loss of enjoyment of our annual holiday. Only now are we starting to feel less ‘fragile’.

We informed the hotel earlier in the week, and I hoped to report our full experience to guest services on our last day but it was closed prior to our departure.

Flew to Venice today with Jet2. The plane was horrible it stunk as was very hot and stuffy with sits about the width of my phone. I was feeling so bad at one point, that I asked a member of cabin crew for some water. She was very rude when my card kept declining and she was sighing and grunting. I am never using Jet2 again.

It starts with Jet2 staff who are polite and welcoming. The flight was on time and the aircrafdt spotlesly clean. I would have given 5 stars had it not been to the excessively pushy on-board sales - which seems to go for ever. A little pricier than Ryanair but worth it for the airbridge alone!

Bussed on arrival in Tenerife. Walked on tarmac to aircraft on return. I remember when this was known as ‘treating passengers like cattle’.

Company was great I don't ever write comments about holidays but this one is a must.it was the holiday to Marrakesh city,hotel aqua Park,well where do I start, hotel clean towels changed and bedding every day.room you had to climb on fixed sofa to see out of window, we where in room 541 on 5th floor, shower was fine and hot,if you stay half board you have to pay for bottled water at evening meal but they don't tell you this they just ask for 25mad on your second night,as for the food it's repetitive and everything is cooked in oil and very greasy,I had this turkey dish and spent my first 24hours will my head in the toilet.waiters removing plates as soon as you put your cutlery down, watching you like a hawk,cups chipped and plates dirty .hotel fine if you're french and all entertainment is in french,we spoke to one English couple the whole week.i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I travelled from Newcastle to Tenerife South on 28 January (LS1927). Boarding commenced promptly with no waiting at the gate. The cabin crew, led by Kelly, were extremely friendly and professional. Service was delivered at a good pace without feeling rushed, and the crew engaged warmly with passengers. There was a minor delay departing Newcastle due to fog, but overall it was an excellent flight with no faults.
