Boat in good functional state, no defects, perhaps a bit older than comparable boats from join the crew.The experience was very nice, and led with great professionalism by our skipper Sebastian who knew how to explain every important aspect of the sailing trip in great detail, making sure it was understood!Was always happy to listen to the crew’s requests and take them into account.He also was eager to teach and explain details about sailing.Thank you Sebastian !
The best holiday I ever had - our skipper Phillip was just the best, always nice and calm and was never tired of us asking how it's done! Dalmatia was such a nice location too, clear water, blue ocean and nice small bays for swimming! 10/10
I went on a trip to the Lofoten with Join The Crew and I loved it. Our guide Midras made us feel very safe. He was really kind, funny and you could see that he likes his job. The house we were staying was modern and had a great view to the fjord and Reine. We did a lot of challenging hikes but that was exactly what I wanted. The trip was very uncomplicated as was Midras, our guide, himself. I definitely can recommend that trip to everyone that likes to have an adventure.
A dreamy holiday with beautiful people and the most wonderful skipper Lukas who went out of his way to always take care of us and made us feel like family. The company however is only good as long as nothing goes wrong. On the first night they had us sign a paper saying we’re responsible if the dingy breaks. In the middle of the trip, several boats had the motors off their dingies stolen. Our crew alone had to collectively pay 1000 euros for this. The contact with customer service following this incident can only be described as laughable and after many people voicing their complaints, they eventually offered a voucher (for less than the full amount) on future JTC trips. I wouldn’t trust them again so personally the voucher is a wash and frankly a slap in the face - it just further benefits the company. So hopefully you’ll have an amazing trip if you don’t mind bringing extra cash for the things JTC don’t want to have insurance on.
The Sardinia Corsica sailing trip was extremely well organized. The bays, towns, etc. were beautiful. Our boat from the Portosico Marina was absolutely terrible. The boat was 13 years old, and the drinks fridge didn't work. Several parts of the boat were broken. The SUP lost air after a few hours and cost €110. Next time, they would be more careful with the boats and the charter company. Perhaps chartering better yachts for a certain amount of money would have rounded off a wonderful vacation. The boat thing was a bit annoying.
