United States Home Services

Not honest about the rebate and incentive program they advertise .

I called the ad they had advertised.

Anyone else use UNITED STATES HOME SERVICES to have items replaced at your home for energy efficiency?

Did they tell you that you qualified for $5000 in rebates? That's what Nolan told me. He assessed my home see what I needed. Set me up with a loan $12600. Told me I would get $1250 incentive check, which I did receive . Then I was told I'd get the $5000 difference when I do my taxes in my return. Which would be $3750. United States Home Services added installation to my attic, solar vent on my roof and a new gas hot water heater.

Nolan then told me I can put$1250 incentive check and $3750 tax rebate check towards the $12600.00 loan. $126.00 payment. Told him I didn't need another big loan. So he knew that of me. I have so my projects I need to do on my house. I do what I can. So I did my taxes, but I did NOT receive $3750 back in my taxes. I was given a TAX CREDIT . I received just over $360 towards my tax bill.

If I knew I was getting a $3750 tax credit , not a $3750 tax REBATE as I was offered to complete this transaction , including a $1250 incentive check, would I have have the work done on my home? Heck no! Was I given the option to do part of the home energy upgrade? Was I told i was incurring a $12,600 loan and no rebate back to put towards the loan? Or was I told I was incurring a loan with no financial REBATE to lessen the loan burden to my finances? NO!

That is not what the ad says. It says rebate and incentives. A TAX CREDIT WAS NOT ADVERTISED OR MENTIONED TO ME. FALSE ADVERTISING. Got to love it!

I'm retired, by myself, 66 year old female. Support myself best possible. Feel totally a fool and so stupid.

I asked if USHS was a program with the city and Nolan said yes. I had even called the city to see if they had an energy efficient program going on. CPS said yes, but I did not give them the name of the company that I was asking about and she didn't ask so that was my fault but I did try to check that I was gonna be OK.

Sad situation I got into. If they were honest at least I could have done less upgrades and had an affordable loan or not done it at all.

I want the $3750 back to me as discussed by Nolan and my conversation. He told me I would get it back in my tax refund so I could put towards my bill. $363 was given to me as a tax credit. So $3750 , less $363 , is $3387.

Christine, from the United States Home Services REBATE Department called me , to possibly correct this Rebate issue. There is no Rebate she said, only a tax credit. I want my REBATE as ADVERTISED.

My dryer broke on January 7

My dryer broke on January 7. They scheduled a repair for 10 days later and then schedule the wrong time so they had to cancel that one and then reschedule a guy came out on January 22. Never plugged the dryer in never checked it and just said I’m gonna order you an element the part was in on January 27. They scheduled the appointment for January 31 and cancel schedule it for March 1 and then cancel that one and then March 2. The technician failed to appear no phone call.nothing. I asked to speak to a supervisor was told one would call me, but never did. The reason they said he failed to appear on March 2 was because they lost a part that they ordered back in January so they rescheduled me again for March 11 and then called me March 11 in the morning and told me that they had to cancel because somebody quit and they couldn’t get the part(really?) so we’ve been without a dryer for 35 days supervisor has never called. Nobody has ever said a damn thing. I will never purchase another GE product and I will never ever ever use in-home service services. 35 days and still not dryer repair . The warranty will run out before they even show up.

on Dec 13,Khalid Mohamad came to my house do some paper work on the Tablet: talk about install HVAC: didn't discuss how much or didn't say the prizes to install .When I saw 1 page with the prize $19,700.00, will pay $199.22 a month 180 months. the total will be $35,859.6 , Does anyone agree this amount for the very old townhouse build 1977.I moved in June 2005. We live without AC since June 2022 because we are retired, the money we receive from SSA only enough for living. I asked Khalid: is this the amount we will pay? He said "No No"the GOV Program will help Rebate everythingfor you ,don't worry anything. I ask i can pay $5,000.00 in 3 years. But I didn't hear since I sent the message to ZACK : the manager, on Dec26. I need your answer. we really can't afford that amount you gave

This company is a scam con game to…

This company is a scam con game to overcharging people 60% and never reviewing the cost until after finishing. They scammed and fast talked my elderly mother for $18,000. She contacted them on Friday for a simple water heater replacement. Which should have been $1500-$4000. They arrived on Saturday and cut open her ceiling to blow insulation. Which she asked why and then said I do not want that and please stop. They didnt and said dont worry it part of the cost. She was confused the entire time. By Monday she was able to see what happened and the cost. She was outraged and called to tell them this was not right and she didnt want this water heater at that price. They refused to give the price of the water heater and cancel. The water heater was from Home Depot and cost $1869. Which left the labor being over $8000!!!! For a simple replacement. They charged her $8000 for in she didnt ask for or need. She demanded a detailed invoice showing the price of the water heater, insulation, parts and labor. They refused several times. They then sent a man named Josh to her home at 7pm at who refused to leave for 4hrs until she agreed to his terms. She repeatedly said she was not happy, the price was outrageous and she didnt want to the product. Please remove it and cancel this order. I have found several other similar complaints on yelp and her. Yoh can contact me thru Baja Delivery Services website. I will be gathering for a class action suit and Texas Attorney General to take legal action against them for deceptive practices. The protection is the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act (DTPA)Nolan Strokos and Josh Water... of United States Home Services dba of GRASP International LLC
