Scamming people

I participated in a holiday draw on social media, claiming to have won a power tool. After following the instructions to claim my prize, I only received a small charge on my debit card. I now realize it was a scam. I received a response to my complaint stating that I would get a refund, and a representative assisted in addressing the issue.
