Review Time
Thanks for a great start to my new KPI business. I feel very supported and encouraged via personal coaching calls and the weekly coaching and Q&A sessions. I'm learning so much and am excited about growing a portfolio of published books. It is easy to get overwhelmed when starting, but I have been given a clear pathway and plan to follow it.
Bought this as a joint venture with my husband as he had first seen Sophie's advert a few years before I did. I had been looking for another way to make an income more passively and after attempting a look at digital marketing, I bought the course. I would say, it is much harder than what is advertised. There is a tonne of information to get through which is quite overwhelming, although you are paying a significant amount and that is stated at the beginning. My husband had better luck at getting to grips with the information as he was already acquainted with using AI tools to create books, but even he said there is so much to go through before you even can get started. I would say if you are wanting to buy into this, you are looking at around 3-6 months before you might get anywhere so don't think it is a get rich quick scheme. It is fair to say that Sophie does mention this but you really do not know what awaits you until you go through the videos. I did have a nice check-in call with a lady called Bonnie and she seemed very upbeat and encouraging. The one thing that I wish had been a bit more transparent was the apparent "upsale" for a crash course basically to get results quicker. After over 2 hours of a supposed "only-will-take-an-hour" phone call with a guy called Cody, he wanted an answer there and then for an even more shocking £997 a month for 13 months - I mean seriously how can anyone afford that amount of cash without getting into debt! I get that people may want to do the extra but it kind of made it feel that what I had already invested in was not good enough. I also didn't appreciate how long the phone call took rather than just cutting to the chase and saying "this is an upsale" instead we were told that we were "specially selected" to take part in a rare opportunity only to read other reviews where others have said the same thing about this. I feel a bit sad, as there were senior citizens on my group phone call who had bought this course and I worry they would not know how to navigate through it and would give up and feel a bit robbed. We will persist with the course because we have invested into it and have nearly got to creating a book, but will it become a passive income? Only time will tell...
I appreciate all the information and the coaching and Q&A sessions. However, keyword searches and categories are still a struggle. Having to purchase additional tools such as Publisher Rocket, without having published yet and this early in the process, is a bit too much to ask. It would be helpful if the coaches who do have PR could support in helping us do the searches for confirmation of our book topics and validation prior to publishing.
