Review Time
I ordered, and paid for glasses, but received no confirmation email. I realized, too late, that the glasses I ordered are not technically possible. (A wish for solution, glasses that suit all circumstances!). Too late I read others here had the same experience.
The glasses do not perform as advertised. I wore one pair of glasses for about an hour and could not see further than about 7 feet. The glasses also failed to tint while outside.I contacted them for a return. At first they offered me 20% and I could keep the useless glasses. I refused then they offered me 30% refund to which I also refused. In their latest offer this morning they increased their offer to 50% or a "free" gift from their website ("Free"? I already paid $52 CDN for two pair of glasses).Their condescending reply, "As compensation and to calm your mood, we provide you with two solutions, and you can only choose one of them.Option 1: Apply for a 50% refund directly for you (the goods do not need to be returned), you can keep it for your own use or give it to relatives and friends;Option 2: Choose an exclusive small gift for you on the official website [location deleted by me to avoid rejection of this review] as our compensation."Update: October 21. Through 4 subsequent emails the merchant incrementally increased their refund offer in amounts of 10% until reaching a dollar amount of $42 (78%) and then a final offer of $48 (89%). I accepted the final offer as I found the whole process tiring and thought it best to cut my losses.
Need zero stars , check out the reviews on here, 90% are 1 star, as people have said they are just basic reading glasses nothing more, you cant return them as they do not reply to emails & SHAME on YOUTUBE too for not vetting their advertisers but i guess they are only intrested in getting the ad fees but i am lucky as i paid via credit card so i can get the money back from Amex. The more people pay via credit card & claim the money back for bad goods the quicker the credit card companies will block future payments to them as they will get fed up refunding customers for no fault of their own. TOTAL SCUM COMPANY.
I bought 2 pairs and they arrived within a fortnight, very well made only trouble is they don’t do what they say they will do ie they don’t auto focus or improve your vision over distance. I would say they are reading glasses for someone who usually needs a 3 as for the rest I’d say they are useless don’t bother buying as you will be wasting your hard earned cash to another scam company
If I could I would put 0 stars. I’ve been scammed. I received reading glasses from a Dollar Store that are too small for a normal face (children size), they don’t do anything, no focus close up, no focus far away. I tried to return them. Wrote several email requests, NO ANSWER. DON’T BUY THIS CRAP!
Glad I looked at Trust pilot reviews. I am a member of Trust pilot and I comment good or bad.I was looking at these glasses on YOUTUBE. I was thinking of buying these and I too look at Trust Pilot for the reviews before I bought them and Luckily for me I did. I am so sorry for the people who bought them, and willing to help others NOT TO BUY. I have seen other items for sale on YouTube and now I don't bother to luck. I just skip over the adds. Thank you to the people who reported this on Trust pilot. It's NOT embarrassing that you have helped me and others. God bless you
