Truly am beside myself after my experience with this horrible company Kristals. I was sucked into the store by the lingering staff out front. I am not one that easily blows people off as I don’t like to be rude. That was my first mistake! I let her apply an eye product which somehow miraculously made an instant difference. I was pleasantly surprised and decided it was what I needed. I heard the price and it was a jaw dropper but again I was swindled by their manipulative sales tactics and I ended up purchasing. At that moment I was happy though as the product they put on in store really seemed to work. The next day I decided to give it a try at home. Absolutely nothing happened! No results!!! No noticeable difference!! What happened in the store did not happen with the same product at home!! How and why?? Still confused about this actually. Did they use something different? Was this actually a bait and switch? After about 5 days I decided to go back to return. I had used a pea sized amount one time only. I was immediately ambushed by the staff as to their policies. I said I have never heard of a store that doesn’t offer returns if not satisfied with the product. The sales clerk said and I quote “ Louis Vuitton doesn’t do returns” I was like this is disgusting and I will spread the word on everything that is wrong with the store!!! From their trashy approach to people just walking by to their phony lies they feed you once in the store. The more people I talk to the more people share their stories. In the world we are living in now it’s truly upsetting that there are people that don’t care about scamming others out of hard earned money. This happened in Georgian Mall in Barrie Ontario. The associates name was Alisa. But the manager was no better. They do not care about their customers! It is truly a scam business and they should be so ashamed!
Excellent Experience at Kristals I recently visited Kristals and I’m absolutely thrilled with my experience! The treatment I received was exceptional - professional, thorough, and truly relaxing. The staff were knowledgeable and took the time to understand my specific skin concerns.What impressed me even more were the products they recommended I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my skin’s appearance and texture. The quality is outstanding and definitely worth the investment.The atmosphere of the store was also lovely - clean, welcoming, and with a great selection of products to browse through.I highly recommend Kristals to anyone looking for quality skincare treatments and products. I’ll definitely be returning for more treatments and to restock my favorite products.
My mum is 60 years old and was walking through a shopping mall in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. A salesperson showed her some wonderful products, and when she tried to leave the store, she ended up paying over HK$50,000 for installation. I can't believe that the salesperson would ask an elderly lady, who is not working, to pay such a large amount. She is very upset now.
I was passing by the Kristals store in Burlington Mall today when a salesperson offered me a free sample and asked if I wanted a gift. I am pretty assertive with salespeople, and I was curious as to what this store had to offer, so I wasn't afraid that I'd give in to any high pressure sales tactics. I obliged the sales girl and went in. She proceeded to ask me a few questions about what I use on my skin, demonstrated some kind of peeling serum on the back of my hand, which did remove a layer of dry skin but also left my hand feeling a bit of a burn. She added a 'moisturizer' after the 'peel' on the back of my hand. This stuff made the back of my hand still feel dry with a bit of a discomforting burn, even at midnight. I've moisturized twice now with Cetaphil with Aloe and it's not helping. This is horrible stuff. Immediately after leaving the store, my skin was dry. It was a bit softer from whatever she used to slough off the dry skin, but it wasn't moisturized or soft and supple like a good skin care product would be. The sales girl then tries to offer me another 'gift' before telling me that the 'peel' and the 'moisturizer' are $200 each. When I insisted that I was going to go home and do my research first, she tried a few other sales tactics, like offering lower prices. When I restated that I was going to do my research first because I took my skin care seriously, and that I again, wasn't buying anything today, she says', "Well, I don't know about that... let's see'. Firstly, don't even bother going in here. Secondly, never let sales people talk you into buying anything. JUST SAY NO. It's ok. The prices here are ridiculous, especially for products that make your skin hurt hours after it was applied.
If you get pink eye, hepatitis, herpes, chemical burns/damage, swelling, burning face, don't ask these humans to be accountable. Very pushy, almost bully-like sales tactics, in a very charming way. Very charming until you run into traumatizing affects from a treatment that was supposed to be good for you. Two weeks now feeling ill with my face literally burnt, red swollen puffy face and both eyes swollen almost shut. Zero care or accountability, I just get gaslit and talked down too. I have photos. I am in the process of contacting the Halton health unit.
