I ordered some linen online. I got a confirmation email and my money was accepted. Everything looked fine. It took 8 days to find out the linen was not in fact on stock. I sent several emails to gain information. For a while, there was an assistant responding but eventually she also stopped replying. It took 24 days(!) to issue a refund. The customer service assistant apologized in the end, yet I will never order from this webshop again. They had my money for 24 days and they ignored me for weeks.

I have never in my life felt the need to write a negative review about a local business—my family has run shops in Spain for generations, and I respect what it takes to survive against big shopping malls. But my experience at Las Tijeras Mágicas was so shocking I feel I must warn others.I brought in a dress worth 400€ for a simple fix and mentioned I had more dresses in my car—including couture pieces worth thousands. Instead of treating me with basic respect, I was openly humiliated.They refused to sell me a 20€ piece of fabric because they said it looked “ridiculous.” They told me my dress was “cheap” and “not worth fixing.” They shouted that the repair would “cost more than it’s worth” and that it would “look tacky,” even though I never once asked about price. They mocked my taste as “cheap and nasty,” and eventually sent me to other shops for fabric, despite being the biggest fabric shop in town.When I explained my mother was about to undergo a double mastectomy and that my time was very limited, they told me to “just escape from the hospital for a moment” to come back later. There was no compassion, no decency—just cruelty. And when I didn’t give in, they pushed me out with an excuse about my car being double parked (information they only had because I had pointed to it earlier).I left in disbelief. This wasn’t just bad service; it was deliberate humiliation, staged between two employees who seemed to take pleasure in rejecting me.For a shop that spends so much on online marketing and builds such a polished image, the reality inside the store is the opposite. If you are thinking of shopping here, be prepared for arrogance, mockery, and a complete lack of humanity.
A pleasure to do business with. Amazing quick service - and the packaging is incredible - beautiful and useful box and a gift of a gorgeous small tin for pins etc. Kept the whole range of embroidery threads I required, easy to use web site and good communication. Have bought from them more than once and very satisfied with availability and service
Very good experience with this shop, very good choice of yarns, buying in Las tijeras mágicas , since 2017, good packages are a plus, nice box for your yarns.Not the fastest shop, sometimes one week to arrive from Spain to Portugal, but always a good service, and there’s some yarn you need not available, you ask them and they send you a e-mail saying it’s already available, for me that’s very helpful.
Be aware of additional costs from this company !!!First their online transaction system on their website didnt work after i had entered all my credit card information, so i contacted them. First they were super kind and offered me a %5 discount. When i had transferred the money it took days where nothing happened, no tracking number or a thank you for the order, so i contacted them again, where they now demand €20 on top of the €68 i already had paid for, because of transaction fees according to them, but this is something which is automatically paid for when transferring money from our netbanks ( i paid €13 ) So i paid €68 plus €13 for transaction and now they want another €20.What expensive yarns it Will be!!! During all of this i have lost €13 of transaction fees plus the transaction fees for the refund, which i will not get back!This is what i call a very bad service. I am extremely dissappointed.
