Cheap quality made. They said they have to make the dress to be modified for a hundred something dollars on top of the price but actually they are liars. Very very bad packaging.Laveliya Australia apparently but that’s how they deceive consumers thinking it’s from Australia. All wrinkles when it arrives how can you wear them like that. Don’t ever buy from them it’s not worth of your money. Go to the shop or research the actual location where you buy them. Take note I’m have been very stingy with websites and still they was able to deceive me.
I gave two stars for people trying to find real information and filtering out the 1 and 5 star bot spam. This company does not deserve any stars.Firstly, if you insist on buying from them. ALWAYS use a credit card (more on this later). Never use debit or charge cards.They are not based in the UK despite the .co.uk name. They are a 100% Chinese outfit and they have zero presence in the UK. If you have a problem with their products, which is likely, they will try to weasel out of refunds, and even if they agree to a refund, they will insist that you post to China at your own expense, and if you do post it they will make every excuse that they have not received it.This is fraudulent, misrepresentative, and in violation of your statutory consumer rights in the UK.If you have fallen victim, your most powerful tools are Section 20(8) of the Consumer Rights Act, and the Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.First, make references to Section 20(8) of the Consumer Rights Act when contacting their support team. Specifically request that, under this act, they must provide full refund AND cover return costs when goods are defective and within 14 days of purchase. Laveliya will likely refuse the refund and/or refuse to cover return costs.Next, escalate to your credit company for a chargeback. Show that you have made contact with company in good faith and attempted to resolve first. Most credit card companies will grant the cashback but some may not (looking at you, American Express).If your chargeback fails, escalate to a section 75 claim with your credit card provider. By law, they must accept your case. Provide all evidence, and specifically state that Laveliya is both misrepresentative, by posing as a UK company when they are not registered on Company House, AND that they violated your consumer rights by refusing to refund and cover return for defective goods. It is VERY unlikely your credit card provider rejects this claim.If you have a really bad credit card provider who refuse the claim, take them to a small claims court. You WILL win.For good measure you should also make a Trading Standards report. They don't help with recovering your money but with enough reports they will shutdown Laveliya.Remember, the law is on your side so never give up. Together we can do our part in stamping out these fraudulent companies.
I've read a lot of mixed reviews about this company. My experience with them was alright. I ordered the A-line V-Neck Short Sleeves Appliques Lace Asymmetrical Chiffon Wedding Dress. It came in looking similar to the picture and fit like a glove. I did pay the extra $8 for custom tailoring, and the dress itself is not tight fitting so that may have something to do with the feel of it. Seems like a hit or miss company though. I might've just got lucky but I am happy with how my dress turned out.
