Review Time
Not a current leaf guard client, but writing this review for their door-to-door service.
Had a gentleman come to my door tonight and was VERY pushy in trying to get me to sign up for a home review. WOULD NOT take no for an answer. He got so pushy I was almost sharing personal schedule information that I SHOULD NOT have to divulge. I didn’t want to lie to him about our schedules but good lord was I about to get rude and straight up lie to him just to get him to take a hint and listen to my NO. I will not install leaf guard on any home (current or future) simply for this interaction. They should be ashamed for how pushy they are and getting into peoples’ personal business just to get someone to sing up for something.
The tactics they used to get us to purchase turned out to be false information. Also, they promised 200 dollars in gift cards which they refuse to send us now after we purchased the product.
They claimed I would receive a gift card for getting a quote, but after I chose not to proceed, three months later, I still haven't received it. This feels like false advertising, and their service and management leave much to be desired. I would not recommend them to anyone.
I can’t speak for the entire company, but my experience in this area was disappointing due to a representative I encountered. After having my gutters installed, they were damaged by another contractor. When I requested a repair estimate, the same person who sold me the gutters came out, and I felt he was not thorough. He pointed out some issues but didn’t seem genuinely concerned. It took months to resolve the situation, and I felt I was misled throughout the process. If this representative is involved, I would advise you to look elsewhere!
I had new gutters installed recently, and initially, there were some issues that were fixed. Now, with winter here, I'm facing ice dams that could damage my roof. When I called for assistance, I was treated poorly, and my concerns were dismissed. Despite providing evidence, I was told that the ice buildup was unavoidable due to my house. I was advised to wait until the ice melted before getting help, which feels unreasonable.
While dealing with this branch, a representative conducted an on-site assessment and provided a quote. However, during installation, unexpected modifications were needed, leading to a significant cost increase that was not communicated upfront. This lack of transparency raises concerns about their assessment process and customer service. The experience has made me reconsider trusting them for future projects.
They assured me a gift card for providing a quote, but after their visit, I decided not to go ahead with the guards. Three months later, I still haven't received the gift card. This seems like misleading advertising, coupled with poor service and management. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
The service was overpriced, and after the installation, the representative failed to follow up on my complaints as promised. I learned that I had three business days to cancel a contract, contrary to what I was initially told. After multiple calls for repairs on a leaking gutter, I feel frustrated and misled.
The salesman became aggressive when I hesitated to sign a contract that seemed overpriced. He belittled my need to consult with family before making a decision. In the end, I felt pressured to sign just to end the uncomfortable interaction.
