I booked a flight advertised as round trip for a low price, only to be informed two days later that my ticket was on standby due to booking through a discount site. I had to adjust my flight time, incurring an additional charge of $100 with non-refundable tickets. They later called to say the change was never processed. I will never deal with them again.
I wife booked 3 flights thru this website. 10 min later she gets a call from a person asking her to pay $260 extra if we wanted to be able to take any luggage. Then the person started to threaten us that if we don't pay we will lose out money. Then, we get an email that our flight dates have been change. The person kept calling and asking for money. We called our credit card company to report this and we even told the person who kept calling. He told us that the card has been charge and there was nothing we could do. After so many call I decided to record the man and even told him that he was being recorded. Please stay away from this company.
Never use this company. It’s a bait-and-switch scheme. They lure you in with attractive offers, take your credit card information, and then confirm the deal only to later email you urgently. When you call back, they inform you that you are on 'standby' and need to pay double to upgrade your tickets! They offer alternatives that differ from the original booking times, requiring an additional $500. You cannot cancel your original payment because the tickets are non-refundable. I spent hours on hold trying to get airline confirmation numbers and missed my check-in time for a flight that was three hours earlier than my original booking. The hold time alone was an hour. I wasted three hours in total asking for a refund, which they denied citing their 'no show' policy in the fine print.
I fell for the scam - everyone please beware!!I booked a roundtrip flight for Christmas. Received my booking confirmation, and spoke with an agent. It had been over 4 days and I had still not received my flight confirmation details. I spoke with the airline and they had no confirmation of me on that flight! Limited fares told me my flight back was on standby and it was in the terms and conditions (IT MOST CERTAINLY WAS NOT OR I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED IT).Told me my only options were to pay another $300 to upgrade or I had to be flexible with my travel dates to rebook. And cancellation was NOT allowed, and I would only receive half of my payment.I am prepared to dispute this charge with my credit card company before they take my money or pause my account. PLEASE BEWARE
They tried to bait and switch me while telling me that my tickets sucked and I needed the $1,000 upgrade. They told me my flight was no longer available and tried pressuring me SO hard to upgrade. My dad saved, me told me it was a scam, helped me freeze, and get a new debit card before the mfs could get to my money.
STOP!!! THIS SITE IS A TOTAL SCAM!! THESE PRICES ARE NOT REAL AND THEY WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED!! BOOKED A TICKET, EVEN TALKED TO A REPRESENTATIVE WHO CONFIRMED MY TICKETS, SENT ME TICKETS ON DELTA AND WHEN I GOT READY TO BOARD MY TICKETS WERE CANCELLED! VERY EMBARRASSING WITH MY TEENAGE SON, CALLED THEM UP AT AIRPORT FOR THEM TO TELL ME TICKETS WERE CANCELLED BECAUSE THE FARE WAS NOT HONORED😡😡😡😡 TRIED TO CHARGE ME $798.00 FOR NEW TICKETS!!
They are professional scammers. The first flight offer is very cheap, but is a trap. I bought a ticket and I didn't get my ticket. The next day they called and said for this ticket there is no luggage, no sit choice..... to make you believe that the ticket is not for you. Then I asked them to cancel it as it was less than 24 hours, but they said there is no cancelation or refund, but we can help you with a regular flight. Not to lose my USD 2400 I agreed to check the regular flight I had to change dates to get a flight 3 times expensive than the flight I booked at the beginning. Please if you see cheap flight from limitedfares don't buy it is a trap. They don't have humanity.
I confirm all the information provided by others. This is a total scam. Don't believe a word of what they said, names positions and false terms and conditions. Everyone is entitled to a cancelation after 24 hours of the booking . They try to deny it. It's pure fraud
