Decided to bite the bullet and go lithium and purchased a 105ah Ultravolt. I was a bit worried the cost would outweigh the benefits. I recently went away for 3.5 days totally off grid. I previously was very careful in my 12v usage when off grid and managed to eke out my AGM battery for 3 days. This time I didn’t bother being careful with my 12v usage. We had showers every day, kept lights on until late, used Sat Tv every night etc etc . Ended up with 56% battery indicating I could have survived off grid for 6 days. Overall very impressed and happy I took the plunge
I purchased my new Bailey Autograph 81-6 in 2020 just after lockdown.The next 4 years + have been a constant battle with the supplied lead acid leisure battery to achieve any + 1 day period off-grid , with the system failing to provide any quality especially when using the heating,TV & all other standard services.The dealer provided me with a DC/DC charger at my cost which proved ineffective !! I discovered with my research & decided to go with Lithium batteries.A lot of "advice" is available but not always accurate until I was fortunate enough to talk to Glen at Lithiumpro,who guided me through the necessary steps to fit a 175AH battery in conjunction with a 50 amp Victron DC/DC charger.The battery is a direct single replacement with similar fittings so is not a problem.I have just returned from a 2,500 mile tour of Scotland & could stay off-grid 6+ days without any problem backed up by the solar panel.The investment although not cheap is well worth doing & I can monitor the battery on my phone via the App.
The Articxtreme is a perfect fit for UK caravans and more than powerful enough to move my 2.3 ton VanMaster. So much better than lead acid. The charger was also easy to install and is very fast at charging. Staff always answer the phone and are very helpful, troubleshooting step by step and finding practical solutions. After purchasing a new VW Knaus Tourer, I realised the existing battery system was no good for off grid camping. The supplied battery was an 80AH lead acid and wouldn’t even run the tv and fridge for one day. I started to get quotes for systems that would allow me to, not have to charge (visit a campsite) I was looking for 2-3 days of battery life that would run my lights,tv, fridge and other usual plug-ins. After receiving a few different quotes on systems that required 2 lithium batteries and sola panels etc(price £3k-6k) I decided to look further into lithium batteries. I came across this company online and spotted the 280AH (actually charges to 305ah) under-seat smart battery. I Contacted Glen the company owner by phone and he explained to me that I could just drop this battery straight into my existing charging systems and, I wouldn’t need solar as, this battery would be more than i required for the 3 days. Glen was very helpful and even gave me a FaceTime call to talk me through the fitting of the battery and a few switches i had to flick, on my charging systems. I can only say I was amazed at the results, the battery lasted for 6 days off grid, this was with the fridge running 24/7 and tv / lighting every night. This battery has been a total game changer for me and saved me thousands. An added bonus with this battery, it connects to your phone so you can see how much you are using. I can’t recommend this battery enough and, the fantastic customer care form this company. All my vans will be fitted with these batteries from now on. Stuart kingBased in Essex.

You can purchase with peice of mind that you are buying quality, I have bought from lithium pro three times,once online and twice from the campervan show at Newbury each time has been made easy with the guys answering any questions on best set up and best practice when it comes to off grid living in ya camper. To be honest once you change to lithium pro you won't go back. Good price for a great product, im now running on the 460ah battery which is plenty to stay off grid on solar alone.
Purchased 175 ah lithium battery last October 2024 from Glen of lithium pro. I was dubious to start with purchasing battery but Glen was patient and explained all. I bought a 280amp seat base battery from Lithium Pro about 6 weeks ago this is probably the best upgrade I have ever made. I have 200w solar and a b2b charger and since fitting it I have not had to plug into grid power at all yet. I have a compressor fridge that I can run 24/7 with no worries. As most of my camping is off grid this makes things so easy. Glen is very knowledgeable and gave me some good advice. The icing on the cake was I got a phone call from Glen yesterday checking everything was working as it should, how many other companies do that after they’ve got your money. I can’t recommend this company and its products enough 5 STAR product and 5 STAR service.
