After you've been in the course for a while, you realize that you have to occasionally break/bend some of their rules. Troy and John excuse their rule breaking with having experience in knowing which rules, and when, will cause you the most pain if broken. Plus, they'll claim a number of their trades fall outside the core strategy, but are within one of their other frameworks. But, you cannot trade within their framework without occasionally ignoring some of their rules while prioritizing others.
I'll admit to breaking a rule that seriously cost me. I went heavy on a stock (Nuscale Power, SMR) and it went deeper, faster than a nuclear powered sub. It is a stock recommended in Troy and John's lists of favorite stocks to trade within the LSO strategy. Plus, I'm a believer in the long term prospects for nuclear power. And, its Technicals were good when I entered the trade. But, "Don't go heavy" would be way above "Don't lose money" on my list of rules. My bad on that one. I'm not laying blame on LSO here. They would definitely recommend against this.
I had three other stocks that went way deep in the money, which I'm still baby-sitting, at much less than 1%/week. I didn't break any rules on those. My strategy for managing Covered Calls has developed from my four DITM trades. The LSO framework is not of much value for the CC half of the wheel.
LSO customer support is excellent for the most part. After-hours and weekend emails often were answered within an hour. The only bad experience I had was with one of their upsells, "Troystradomus". This course was advertised as giving insight into figuring out what sectors are poised to outperform the market, to assist you in selecting which stocks to trade. Well, the value of that course content was terrible. It was essentially Troy's autobiography and no person's life story is worth $159. To top it off, I only had access to the course material for 13 days when they cut me off without warning. So, they initially allowed my access to continue past my subscription end-date in order to take my money for this add-on course. But, then they cut me off without giving me adequate time to view it all. There were some bonus items that may have been worthwhile. However, I never got to view them because I didn't anticipate losing access so soon after having paid that much.
Having said all this, I would say that if you're new to Options Trading, this course, even at $2K, is probably worth the money. Especially if you could benefit from some hand holding as you risk your family's financial future. They won't baby you along though. They tend to do a good job at prodding you to spread your wings and get out of the nest.
I don't think the monthly access to their tools and community is worth $100/month. There are better wheel analysis tools out there for much less. And, they don't subject you to all the marketing and fawning over how amazing this course is.
LSO is a good way to get into the Schwab trading environment and learn Think-or-Swim as well. Just don't quit your job because you've got $100K to invest and can get by on $50K/year.

They know what they are doing, they care and their trainings are excellent - not just something to buy and then struggle through. I followed their system and I have been trading (very well) for the last month. I was concernd that this sounded too good to be true, but I watched the training courses, and gradually started trading. The framework has performed sucessfully, with a little more income every week, with average just over 1% weekly on my investments. Troy and John are very helpful and responsive to questions, as are the rest of the crew: Lindsay, Jenny, and Jacob.
This is truly the best options training curriculum I have encountered. The strategies are laid out in a thorough, clear, and systematic manner which builds a solid foundation for anyone's investment journey. You not only learn how to fish, but also how to work within the market given any condition and still be able to generate weekly cash flow while maintaining a relatively low degree of risk.Like everything, there is a steep learning curve, but with implementation and repetition, the framework becomes second nature. The weekly group calls, which offer market updates and where questions are answered, are also extremely helpful. There is also a screener tool and tracker which are very nice add-ons.The only significant negative is their Vegas-style retention strategy; if you wish to unsubscribe from the monthly group calls ($100/mo) you lose access to all materials and courses you already paid for (which of course, are additional to the $100/mo).
Trusted referral has moved up my retirement 7 yrs. LSO delivers what I couldn't figure out in previous trading - a low time-commitment method for consistent profits. Founders Troy (strat inventor) & John (strat exemplar) directly available for guidance. Community platform and tools (maintained by accessible developer, Jacob) ease monitoring of opportunities and progress & help from founder to accomplished traders (including co-founder, Lindsay & student advocate, Jenny). I took it serious, followed instructions, recovered course cost <3mo, have a believable, earlier retirement date.

The whole team works to give everyone a great learning experience. In addition to the hours of training provided, I have enjoyed joining the live calls from Troy, John, Lindsay, and Jenny. The weekly calls are recorded and watchable on the platform. It helps to feel confident in strategies with the years of documentation provided.I joined Low Stress in June 2025. They have delivered on their promises and I have been recommending it to friends and family. Even though I feel like I could execute the strategies on my own, I find value in the collective knowledge of the group. Low Stress Options is wonderful, amazing, and transformative... but also approachable, learnable, and EASY. The hardest part is sticking to the framework. I can't recommend this enough to anybody who's interested in active management of their investments with a relatively small amount of work. Troy, John, Lindsay, and Jenny are all fantastic; each provide their own unique style of coaching.
A podcaster to whom I've listened for many years, Tom Woods, told his listeners about LST. I spent a week evaluating the program via daily, educational Zoom calls. I joined in late-June of 2025, and have never regretted it. I am following the framework and earning 1% per week on my money. Big thanks to Troy, John, Lindsay, Jenny, and others to the work they put into this framework and into the active community and ongoing courses. I've already had one family member join, and I am telling another about it now.
