Review Time
After being drawn in by the low prices, I ordered hardwood flooring from Lumber Liquidators. The salesperson in the store was friendly and gave me reasonable advice that I probably should have used elsewhere. Unfortunately, what I received could not be used to complete my project. 60% of the order was below the advertised grade. Roughly half of that, or roughly 30% of the total, was not installable due to voids, excessive warp, and other structural defects. Lumber Liquidators refused to acknowledge or correct the problem. If I need hardwood flooring again, I could buy 3x as much material, hoping I will get another good 40%, or I could spend the same money buying from a company with superior products, far less waste, and better post-sale service. I suggest you look elsewhere.
I would give less than 1 star if possible. I ordered flooring, and my contractor picked it up. While he was installing, I noticed it didn’t match what I thought I ordered. Upon reviewing my sales receipt, I found discrepancies in color/name. When I reached out to the support team, they refused assistance due to the 10-day window. Very disappointing experience with inadequate customer service.

The ordering process seemed smooth, and the wood was delivered on time. I paid for an estimator to measure my home. However, when the installers arrived, the custom wood grills were missing, and the work order didn’t cover the area under the dishwasher. After hours of trying to resolve the issue, I was informed they couldn’t proceed until the grills were delivered, which would take weeks. I had already hired a plumber and moved furniture at considerable expense, and now I was left without a solution from the company. I requested compensation for my expenses, but the store manager suggested I contact corporate, which was unhelpful. I received no callbacks, and the situation remains unresolved. I cannot recommend this company for comprehensive solutions.
WARNING!! This has been the worst experience ever. I ordered discontinued flooring, and when I got home, none of the 9 boxes were usable. When I reached out to the store and corporate, they stated all sales are final. I had the flooring for only 72 hours. This is unprecedented for me. I've contacted a lawyer and will leave reviews everywhere. Not everyone can afford to lose $1,000. PLEASE BEWARE AND AVOID THIS COMPANY!
The in-store employees were helpful, but corporate management was a disaster. I confirmed order quantities multiple times, but after three weeks, they reported losing 7 boxes of hardwood. Construction had already begun, leaving my floors ripped up with no way to finish. They continued to advertise the product while I faced this issue. Communication was poor, leading to further frustration.
Their LVT flooring is the worst I’ve ever used. After spending $45,000 over two years, I’ve replaced every piece. Their lifetime warranty is essentially meaningless, as it only covers the flooring's lifespan, which is about two years without wear. Filing a claim is a nightmare with unhelpful representatives.
I had defective flooring installed and reported it to the store within two days. After almost eight weeks, there’s still no resolution. I paid over $7,100 for flooring and have spent over $22,000 elsewhere. The company is deflecting blame, and I just want my flooring replaced. Customer service has been unhelpful, and I plan to escalate my complaint to regulatory bodies. Buyer beware!
