Formal Complaint: Membership Mismanagement & Staff Misconduct
To: Management / Corporate Relations
Location: 1725 N Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89108
Date: January 31, 2026
Subject: Unprofessional Staff Conduct and Guest Policy Discrepancies

I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received today, January 31, at your North Rainbow location.
I currently hold your highest-tier membership, which includes guest privileges. Despite utilizing this pass consistently (on average once per week), I was informed today by your staff that I had "exceeded" my guest limit. When I sought clarification, I was met with an unprofessional and aggressive ultimatum: pay a $20 daily fee or increase my monthly dues by $15.

Key Issues:
• Lack of Transparency: As a premium member, the sudden "expiration" or "limit" of a core benefit—without prior notification or clear documentation—is unacceptable.

• Hostile Environment: Rather than assisting me, the three staff members on duty were remarkably unfriendly. The group "stared us down" as if we were trespassing, creating an incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere.

• Dismissive Resolution: When I requested to cancel my membership due to this treatment, the staff made no effort to retain my business or de-escalate the situation. Instead, I was simply handed a phone number and dismissed.

I have been a loyal member of LVAC, but I will not pay for a "premium" experience that results in harassment at the front desk. I expect a clear explanation of why my guest privileges were restricted and an apology for the behavior of the staff on duty today.

If this is the standard of service LVAC now provides, I would like my membership terminated immediately without the typical "run-around" or administrative hurdles.

Company runs a promotion for $1 due at signing + first month for a new member to the gym with monthly payments on the 1st of the month. After 45 days the annual fees are charged. What they do not disclose at sign up is they require 30 day notice to cancel after the first 30 days. This creates an non-negotiable/mandatory 60 day commitment including annual fees (tripling the agreed upon payment) that is not disclosed on signing.

above the average for regular weight lifting

I have been all around: LVAC Henderson for 2 years, then I moved to northwest side signing with EOS, and later 24 fitness.I just used the gym to regular weight lifting and after a simple balancing test, considering the price, facilities (including parking and employees), and equipments, I am sure that LVAC is the best option for working out while in Vegas.

Racism at lvac

Date December 26, 2024Time -9:00AM Las Vegas Athletic Club9065 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123Workout at the Las Vegas Athletic Club, lifting weights in the women’s only workout room. Two young ladies were talking for about 5 to 10 minutes while using some 8-pound weights that I wanted to use. I asked one of the ladies if she was using the 8-pound weights, and she replied that she was still using them. The two young women continued chatting, so I walked away and resumed my workout.About three seconds later, the two ladies left the weights and moved to a nearby machine. I asked again if they were done with the weights, and they said no. I continued my workout for the next 3 to 5 minutes later one of the ladies approached me. She got very close and began talking to me, but I didn't hear her because I had my headphones on. I politely advised her to have a great day and a happy new year, and I continued my workout. However, she kept approaching me and yelling about something, which I couldn't hear due to my headphones. Eventually, she left the women’s workout room with her trainer. About five minutes later, I was approached by two employees of LVAC, Sean and NANOIA. They informed me that they had been notified of an altercation involving me.I was confused and asked them why they were approaching me about anything and how they knew to address me. They mentioned they had received reports of an altercation. I stated there was no altercation; I had simply asked a lady about the weights, and she then went off on a tangent. They asked me to write a statement about the incident, but I insisted that nothing had happened and suggested they check the camera footage. They refused to acknowledge my request to pull the cameras. One of the employees then threatened to cancel my membership. I asked what the reason for the cancellation was, explaining that I hadn’t done anything wrong. They said it was because I was refusing to write a statement. I didn’t ask the employee did the other young lady needed to write a statement he stated he didn’t even know who the young lady was or had any of their information so then I proceeded to ask why he was even asking me to do something you didn’t ask them for Which was a total lie due to one of the personal trainers work at LVAC he refused to provide her information or anything about them, but wanted me to write a statement. I was told multiple times that my membership would be canceled. Be or suspended for doing anything I requested to speak to a manager Refusal, but they most definitely attempted to threaten me with police action for doing nothing I reiterated that nothing had happened and felt that I was being racially profiled. I even threatened myself with the police being called, stating I would be there waiting for the police. About five minutes later after me waiting the employee from LVAC asked to speak with me and then advised me that he called the police, but they were not coming here was their corporate card and if I wanna wait for the general manager, I could at that time I took the information and I left this tire situation was uncalled for This entire situation was humiliating and traumatic for me.

Best place to work out

Best place to work out. Pretty safe and clean where it gets sweaty by nature.

Scummy billing prqctices

So I've gotten the first hand experience of why you never do contracts with gyms for anything over a month.I went to pay my monthly balance for 3 different accounts using a different card. It looks like my old card got charged anyways. I checked my account for the new card and it showed the payments were on hold.So now I have an extra $75 to pay (25 per account), which billing says they wont refund because "your billing history isnt long enough". So now a regularly paying customer is being punished because they tried to use a different card to pay. They wont refund because they know they can strongarm me into paying because if I decide to quit, I'll have to pay hundreds to cancel the 3 contracts.Never had an issue, but I guess with enough time I was bound to deal with some bs to make me regret signing up with them.
