The service is disappointing. They impose a fee that you must pay if you don't meet the quota of 2,000 streams. For an artist with only a handful of monthly listeners, this target is unattainable. This was not clearly communicated during the sign-up or upload process. It's utterly absurd. While I have funds, many others do not, and they will struggle with this fee. I won't be using this service again and cannot recommend it. I regret not heeding the warnings from others about their negative experiences. I was searching for a platform that allows my songs to remain accessible while keeping costs low, and they've exceeded my expectations! Initially, I was doubtful as it seemed too good to be true, but I decided to wait and see if I would receive my royalties. The distribution is swift, and unlike other services that charge more for quicker distribution, this one is entirely free. Furthermore, the customer service is outstanding—quick responses from real people, not automated messages. They do take a fee from the first 2,000 streams per release each year, but once you meet that quota, you keep 95% of the earnings and 100% of the royalties! A little tip: it's better to release albums instead of singles since singles can be risky for hitting quotas. If you don't meet the quota, the fee is minimal, and you have a whole year to achieve it! This service is very consumer-friendly, and I'm excited about what lies ahead for this platform! (If things change, I’ll be sure to update my review.) Also, I’m skeptical about some of the one-star reviews; they seem like bots or users who don’t know how to navigate the service properly.
After a bad experience with another distributor, we tried several options simultaneously, and this service ended up mirroring that negative experience. They deleted our account and kept approximately $1,200 without any explanation or proof. We were aware of the risks given their poor reviews, but we hoped they might be different. Unfortunately, they are not; they seem to exploit artists and their royalties. They operate under the assumption that their Terms of Service supersede the law, but they will soon face consequences for their actions. Our advice is to steer clear of distributors without a label or contract, as many follow similar unethical practices if your music gains traction.
They fail to pay royalties. Once they delete your account, they cease all communication. If you expect royalties after a few months, know that you will receive nothing, and they will keep the funds. This is essentially fraud, and they should be held accountable. We will never use a distribution company from this region again. Update: Their claims about account deletions lack credibility. This behavior is indicative of scammers, and I hope others recognize this before using their services. Deleting accounts with significant balances is fraudulent, regardless of their claims.
