I sought to self-publish a book and this service appeared first when I searched for Amazon Publishing. Although their team never claimed to be related to Amazon, I mistakenly thought they were due to the use of "Prime" in their name and a logo resembling Amazon's in their email signature. Their service aims to assist authors in preparing their books for KDP. However, Amazon does not charge for self-uploading, yet I was billed nearly $300 and faced upsell attempts ranging from $800 to $2,000. They did help with preparing my book, including making edits (which I noticed myself) and designing a cover. I halted the process when they requested my Amazon sign-in details and OTP code, fearing for my personal data and account security. I eventually adjusted my manuscript and uploaded it to KDP myself at no cost. It was straightforward, without any upselling. After posting this review, I received a threat from their lawyer within 24 hours, warning me of potential defamation claims to the Attorney General.
I sought help with publishing since I was confused about the formats and unsure of the next steps. The support team guided me through the essentials without making me feel lost. There were a few delays in communication, but in general, the process seemed manageable, and my book eventually made its way into the world.
Josh Abraham was wonderful with getting my guided journal published. He answered my questions and ensured things were taken care of. There was a question of what was included in my package based on in the info I was given by the consultant, but Josh got it taken care of.

Nothing but headache working with these people. Manuscript had over 70 issues, multiple attempts to fix. They upsell everything and no results. Waiting on press release and trailer as of today July 24, for a book published in February. Each time I’ve asked for contact for my lawyer I’m given the run around. I’ve asked for refund for the trailer and press release which were separate charges and NADA.
BEWARE!!!I feel obligated to share my experience to protect others from falling victim to the same fraudulent practices I have recently encountered.After working with Prime Publishing Studio and Senior Manager Ben Mark on my book project, I was introduced to what was presented as an “investment opportunity” involving both Prime Publishing Studio and Global Ink House. The proposal was compelling, and I was further connected with another Senior Manager, Dushane Barnes.Despite having a signed contract, dozens of confirming emails, wire transfers, and supporting documents, I was falsely promised a guaranteed return on my investment tied to book printing and distribution. Subsequent requests for additional funds were honored to support Chase bank transfers and wires. A red flag for me but Ben was compelling in its legitimacy so I could be made whole.None of these commitments have been honored. My funds were taken, taxes were allegedly paid, and neither my investment nor the promised returns have been provided by the contractual due date earlier in the summer.Instead, I have been met with months of vague assurances, disingenuous responses, and an alarming lack of communication—leaving me with no resolution despite giving both individuals ample opportunity to remedy the situation.Unless this matter is resolved immediately, I will be formally reporting Prime Publishing Studio, Global Ink House, and the individuals involved to the appropriate authorities and regulatory bodies.I share this experience partially out of anger and embarrassment, but out of responsibility—to raise awareness and prevent others from being misled by similar schemes. If you are approached with offers of “guaranteed returns” in publishing or distribution, I urge you to exercise extreme caution.Fraud thrives in silence. I refuse to remain silent.
