We had lunch together, and he also helped us find special tree bark to bring home for my other sister, which is used for traditional dyes. The guide service to a famous archaeological site was exceptional. I didn't expect to take photos without tourists around, but we arrived right when the site opened. The tour, well-researched, included known facts, and the guide was knowledgeable about our questions, having spent considerable time in museums learning his subject. We spent about three hours at the ruins before heading to the cenote. Although it may feel like a tight schedule, it ensures that you arrive before the larger tour groups. The cenote was picturesque, and we had lunch well before the crowds, avoiding long waits. Although it may initially seem pricier than other tours, there are no hidden fees, and many other tours require additional entry fees, making them not as cheap as they appear. The experience of this tour was smooth and easy, and we were very pleased with it.
The experience was absolutely perfect. Our guide had extensive knowledge about the archaeological site and was very personable. His main focus was to ensure our group had the best experience.
