I've been working with Logan for just over a year now. I came to him with the initial goal of losing weight. Logan told me he could make up an individualized program for me, and I have lost over 25 pounds and become stronger. Logan is very encouraging and will talk with you personally and knowledgeably lead you in the best direction to achieve your goals. I know Logan is there for me, and he will be there for you.
Exactly a year ago, I came across Logan Mandeville on Instagram. He specializes in coaching men over 60. After six months of intensive, supervised training, I can proudly say it was worth it. Reducing body weight, increasing muscle mass, and improving mobility were my goals, which I more than achieved with Logan. I highly recommend Logan and Mandeville Fitness.
I first talked to Logan Mandeville, the founder and leader of Mandeville Fitness, back in February 2024, a couple of months shy of my 59th birthday. His specialization in helping men over 40 really resonated with me. In my 30s, I worked out regularly, ate nutritiously and enjoyed spending time with friends. But things had changed dramatically by the time I reached my 50s. I was working remotely a great deal of the time, and I became indifferent to hitting the gym as frequently or at all. When I talked to Logan, I was the heaviest I'd ever been in my life (about 230 lbs.), Type 2 diabetic and tired of being tired all the time. He put together a nutrition and exercise plan that began with suggested foods and recipes as well as three full-body workouts. There were no crazy movements or drastic calorie cuts. Just baby steps towards getting me healthier. Now, I've been with Logan for over a year (I renewed our partnership in February 2025) and I'm in the high 170s weight-wise, I'm off my diabetes meds, am eating delicious healthy meals and wake up every day feeling positive—which is a huge thing being 60 now and job hunting. Logan and the personally designed fitness and nutrition plans he created for me have literally made my life better in immeasurable ways. His compassionate guidance and friendship make him stand out in the very competitive business of online coaching. I've worked with other trainers in the past (both gym-based and online) and he is by far the best. A friend asked me why I thought that, and the answer is simple. He truly gives a damn. He cares about me, my health, my wellbeing and my state of mind. And he will about yours, too! I cannot say enough good things or recommend any professional more highly than I recommend Logan Mandeville.
Logan was an amazing help with working out and helped me lose a whole heap of weight and not only this Logan was also a life coach in a way and helped me grow some self confidence and get a lot of personal issues I was facing resolved. Further to this a large amount of time was done during Melbourne's longest lockdown so was still able to help while not having access to a gym. Cannot recommend Logan highly enough.
Logan is great, really friendly and personable, putting me at ease about starting a my fitness journey. He is great at encouraging you to do well but doesn't act like a Sergeant-Major barking orders at you which is fantastic. The community He's created with other guys in the same position as me is wonderful. There's no judgement, just encouragement.Logan's weekly check-ins, monthly educational calls and social hours are a good way to connect with Logan and others, you can always learn from each other.Logan is great at listening to feedback about workouts so that he can find the best exercises that will work for you.Highly recommend.
I've been working with Logan for fifteen months. The transformation has been INCREDIBLE! I've lost 120 pounds, and I'm only 5.8 pounds away from my original goal of 210 (I started at 348, and began working with Logan at 338 -- after two months of only losing 10 pounds using Zepbound). Logan instituted nutrition, walking, and strength training into my daily routines. I now prioritize my fitness program because he uses a light touch and slowly modified my behaviors. For the last two days - I haven't logged my food during the day, but when I do it the next day the calories were within 50 +/- my daily goal and the macro ratios were respectable. I even ate out for lunch one of the days. To me that says I'm gaining a habit where I internally understand my portion sizes and the mix of the core nutrients (carbs, fats, and proteins).I walk multiple times a day usually in twenty to thirty-minute intervals and typically achieving 10,000+ steps a day. Lastly I work out 2 - 3 times a week.All of these behaviors took time, and were slowly added to my routine. I have a full-time job (in fact I own my own small company with four employees/contractors), amongst other key aspects of my life that keep me very busy.I'm so grateful to Logan and how he has helped me to make lifelong behavioral changes. I just signed up for my second full year. I'm thinking of targeting another 15 pounds (to get rid of the last of the subcutaneous fat round my middle) and we plan to focus on more muscle definition to help with the body shape as well.I highly recommend his services to anyone that asks me. He doesn't use a traditional 'fitness trainer' model where you pay hundreds of dollars per week and only focus on the training aspect. He does full-life coaching to accomplish significant changes in how you interact with your health and wellness.I will be turning 61 in a few months and this is the best I've ever felt, and the last time I was this lean I was 20 years old.I've added some pictures below for a before and after sense of my progress.AJ
