Man With A Van is The Best!

Man With A Van has done many deliveries for me over the years and also recently moved my entire 2 bedroom apartment with a truck. They've previously delivered my Facebook marketplace and craigslist purchases including pinball machines, a sofa, a big table etc. I never had a problem and the crew is always polite and careful, they wrap everything with blankets, and good prices.

These guys were super

These guys were great. They were so professional, the movers were so friendly, and at the same time all of the communications I had with them were also obviously family-business style. They also gave me a break even though the move took over an hour. Rating them on every platform I can find! Thank you guys!

Caution

We used man with a van and would NEVER do so again! Where to start!? Domingo and Danny were the laborers. They were friendly enough and seemed to do a good job. However, once we unpacked our belongings the next day we realized a bag with our Dyson vacuum among other things wasn’t present. I called the office and spoke with Abby. Abby informed me that’s it not their problem and hung up on me!! Literally hung up on me! I texted Domingo that the bag had not been packed and while we understand mistakes happen we needed the items shipped to us or we would meet them closer to us to pick up. Domingo read the text and never responded. I confirmed with the apartment building that the bag had been left. It was. I had to buy an Amtrak ticket and go back into NYC to pick up the $800 vacuum that they left behind! Again, no response from anyone at the Man with a van offices. I highly recommend not using this company. They were rude and disrespectful after they got their money.

This was an easy and efficient move!! Sean and Jerome were friendly and extremely hard-working … they carried everything quickly out of a 3rd floor walk-up! The estimate was accurate and everything was smooth!

I wish I could give 10stars! This company is beyond GREAT!... Jake was one of the nicest people I have every spoke to when calling a company, he was so helpful and professional...then our driver John who has been with the company for years, first was early and was as sweet as pie and such a great worker. Even with a mask you could see his smile. I am recommending Man With A Van to everyone that is looking for a truly reliable professional caring company. This company should be rated as the best of the best. I was left stranded by another moving company on moving day. As simple as a phone call and sharing my tragedy Paul managed to find the ability to move me within a couple of hours of a phone call. But wait there's more. The employees who provided the labor exceeded all expectations. Lastly even knowing I was desperate they provided more services and did not take financial advantage of the situation. I found Man With A Van through a Google search and, called on Tuesday night to help with my mom's move that following Saturday. Paul was really helpful over the phone, and we went ahead and set it up.I gotta tell ya, I really didn't know what to expect. With so many internet hoaxes and iffy people/companies trying to pull one over - it kinda seems that we're always waiting for the other shoe to drop, if you know what I mean.But Paul assured me that he would be available by phone all day Saturday in case there was an issue, so I hung my hope on that.I got a text from Tommy around 11:00AM letting me know that they were on their way and should arrive at 2:00PM. The guys arrived right on time - 2:00PM on the nose! Imagine my relief!The guys were very courteous and very respectful. They took excellent care of my mother's belongings.Moving can be very stressful, but having these guys there with us made all the difference. They loaded the van in about 90 minutes; they took half my mom's stuff to a storage facility, and unloaded that set; and then took us to the new address, and unloaded that set. We completed the entire thing in just under 4 hours. The price at the end was more than reasonable, indeed. Tommy texted me a link to pay by credit card which I was able to do the following morning, despite the sore muscles.I'm very happy to recommend MWAV to anyone, and they'll be my very first call should I ever have to move again, God forbid!

THE VERY BEST

THE VERY BEST! These guys are such PROS!!! We had a last minute move and Paul was so nice, efficient, and professional - he made it happen so quickly! The guys (Oscar & Luis) came EARLY and they were so sweet and fun - made the experience of moving such a delight. They even helped move our old couch out of the living room to make room for the couch they moved from the old apt. 10 stars. I will always use this company when moving in the future. Do yourself a favor and book them!!!
