Review Time
I ordered from Matcha & Co about a month ago. I was initially nervous due to some of the reviews, but I’m pleased to say my experience has been positive overall.
My order was dispatched quickly and took around a week to arrive, which makes sense as they ship from Spain.
I’ve seen a number of reviews mentioning their returns policy, which I agree is questionable. I think this is something they should review, particularly in terms of legality, so I’ve dropped one star for this reason.
Onto the matcha itself. I do enjoy matcha and usually drink it with milk or as a latte, and I’m currently expanding the range of brands I’ve tried. I ordered their basic ceremonial matcha, not the premium powder.
The matcha is a good green colour and appears to be good quality. When made with milk it tastes very nice nothing strange or unpleasant and it whisked smoothly. I’ve been enjoying it a lot as a latte.
I did also try it neat with just water, prepared in a small espresso-style amount. I wouldn’t recommend drinking it this way as it can be a little bitter.
Overall, this is good matcha but better suited to lattes or drinking with milk. It’s not the highest-quality matcha available, but this matches the price point and product description well. For the price, I think it’s very good value and I’d recommend it to anyone trying matcha for the first time or who mainly drinks matcha lattes.

After I initiated a tracking request and reached out via email and messaging, they promptly delivered my order. I’m puzzled as to why my order was overlooked for weeks, but the support team was quick to respond. I hope this delay doesn’t occur again; otherwise, I may consider other brands.

I’ve consistently had positive experiences with the service. I typically order the premium matcha and most of my matcha accessories from their platform, all of which are of excellent quality and reasonably priced! Unfortunately, they have ceased deliveries to my location.
I feel cheated! When returning physical items like whisks or spoons, they only offer a voucher for their own site. It's baffling what they don’t understand about refunds, and I suspect it violates online shopping regulations. An absolutely shocking service. I am thoroughly appalled.
If there was an option for zero stars, I would select it—DO NOT PURCHASE. I thought I read good reviews, but now it’s disheartening to see the negativity. THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY A SCAM! They refuse returns, claiming it’s a food item, yet took two weeks to arrive! They fail to honor their site’s satisfaction guarantee and instead automatically issue a VOUCHER!!!!! I now have to attempt a chargeback! I spent over a significant amount and will not purchase again, so what good is the voucher?
Terrible customer service and misleading claims. They state on their site that if you’re not satisfied, they will issue a reimbursement. There’s no small print (I’ve checked thoroughly). I tried one of the three bottles I ordered and didn’t enjoy the taste, which wasn’t as good or intense as advertised. I requested a refund within two hours of receiving it, only to be told they would provide a voucher instead. What’s the point of exchanging for more of the matcha I didn’t like?
The matcha appears to be of high quality. It tastes great, and the packaging is very nice. However, the tracking of my order was not very clear, which made me a bit uneasy after reading some comments. Nevertheless, it arrived about seven days after placing the order, which is quite reasonable (delivered to my location). Overall, I’m very pleased.
The customer service is very disappointing. I ordered two products and received something entirely different. Now, I’ve been asked to arrange a pick-up for the incorrect item they sent, and only then will they resend what I actually ordered. There’s no compensation, and their customer service seems to ignore my emails, repeating the same information. I used to buy frequently from this brand, but I will not purchase again and will stop recommending it.
