Review Time
I've used study mind and medic mind for A-level tutoring and interview preparation for approximately a few months this year and a month last year. Both times I received an offer for medicine, and for one I received an offer the very next day. (I used the tutors Megan and Zunaira) There isn't a way I could've done this without my tutors, they guided me through the process and made me answer questions outside my comfort zone to make sure any question was manageable if I followed their structures. The resources Medic Mind provides were also great for revision between tutoring lessons and gave me a better understanding of what to expect. For my A levels, I had originally chosen a tutor who I was not too happy with, but Medic Mind refunded me for the hour I spent and allowed me to pick another tutor who taught me amazingly well, so it's reassuring to know that once you pick a tutor, if you aren't happy you can always change until you are. My tutor Binari was a beyond amazing tutor for maths, she was truly engaged and would put a lot of time and effort into ensuring I fully understood everything, I am currently sitting my A levels, and as nerve-wracking as the experience is, I could not be in the position I am today if it weren't for my tutors.
Very professional and prompt service. Medicmind were able to find me appropriate tutors for different universities in a prompt manner. The medical interview tutors were brilliant and helped me to obtain an offer for my first choice university (and 2 more offers)!
Really thorough and structured medicine interview guidance from tutor Sahar Hooriah. I did 4 hours worth of individual 1-1 lessons/tutoring and a practice MMI circuit with medic mind. This helped me receive an offer at med school through great interview advice, tips and practice questions! :)
Wide range of stations and covered a variety of topics. Tutors were really supportive and there was feedback for each station. Liked that we got to listen to another student's response; it was really valuable to hear another student's take on the same question. Sometimes the feedback from the stations were more general and not really specific to the individuals' responses. However, overall, it was a really valuable experience, and it has made it really clear on where I need to improve for my interviews.
