I’ve been using mail.com as my primary email for a number of years now. I like the lack of spam, but I changed my password due to a data breach but have now been locked out of my account.
I’ve tried contacting them to no avail. The AI chat just sends you around in circles and contacting them via the form results in absolutely nothing, not even a ticket to say they’ve received anything.
I have now lost some important documents that I am unable to get back.
I am not a premium member so I am not eligible for phone support.

This platform is incredibly frustrating to use. They can block your account at any moment without providing valid reasons or assistance to resolve issues. You risk losing access to all your important emails permanently!

Locked Out Due to Suspicious Activity.

I was locked out for suspicious activity, with no explanation of what that activity was. Since my account was only a couple of months old, I can’t even guess what the security issue might be. No responses to my inquiries on my other email account with a different provider. It’s a waste of my time and effort. I lost all my contacts.

Hope You Don't Need Reliable Support!

This service is fine as long as you never need support. They are not very secure. I was one of the recent accounts that got hacked. No explanation or apology was provided. After sorting out the password and authentication, I regained access—only for it to become unusable within an hour. I tried the AI Assistant, which can only redirect you to password reset (which doesn’t work), or a contact form. I tried the contact form and got mailer daemon failures. Their servers are messy and insecure. Want to talk to a person? Good luck with that. You have to call for paid support, but if you are outside the country, you just get cut off. The AI Assistant even suggested contacting them on social media, but they ignore comments and just send copy-paste replies. It’s so bad that I had to reach out to their parent company via their press email, which also doesn’t work. Honestly, it feels like a data scraping scam as they were flagged for a data breach, and it was only their service causing the issue.

No Assistance, Just Ads and Random Lockouts.

I recently tried a certain email service. Living in the EU, I created an account, set up some aliases (which I had used elsewhere), received a few legitimate emails, and even reached out to their support team. Today, I logged into the app only to find a message stating my account was blocked for “irregular activity.” I don’t even use a VPN. There was no explanation or response from support — just silence. Honestly, I don’t want to waste more words on this service, but here it is: this platform is clumsy, lacks real support, is filled with ads, and handles accounts poorly. The only decent aspect is the email address, but since they can block you randomly, I strongly advise against using this so-called “service.” I had read reviews about sudden bans and thought they were just complaints from spammers — but it's true. They block accounts for no reason.

THE RECAPTCHA SIGN-UP & VALIDATION ERROR (WHEN I COMPLETED RECAPTCHA AND IT SHOWED (4.0s or a bit longer) I CLICKED BACK AND TRIED ANOTHER EMAIL TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT, BUT WHEN I CLICK NEXT I HAD TO COMPLETE RECAPTCHA AGAIN, EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY DONE IT! NEVER USING THIS AGAIN. AWFUL SERVICE! NO RESPONSE WHEN I NEEDED HELP.
