This was hands down the best tour I have ever done. It was amazing to get insight into the country from our smart, interesting and passionate guide, who had lived and worked through Bosnia and Herzegovina's turbulent history, and whose love for her country and its people, and her faith in their future, really shone through. It felt generous in scope, in how much of herself the guide put into illuminating the city for us, and in the recommendations that were offered as to local foods, goods, which museums we should visit etc - it really came across that her motivation was for us to get the most from our experience of Bosnia. I am already planning my return to take a deeper dive and do more of their tours. It was such a great experience, and added so much to my enjoyment of Sarajevo.
Meet Bosnia Travel is without a doubt best tour company in Bosnia! Had three tours with them (Fall of Yugoslavia, Srebrenica and walking tour of Sarajevo), all of them were informative and good for understanding history of Bosnia. Guides Viki and Ago (and also the guide of Srebrenica, forgot his name!) were very kind and friendly, answered all the questions. Also, Meet Bosnia office let me to leave my luggage for a couple of hours before. Moreover, they organised a private transfer to airport for me on the spot, which saved me!!! Thank you for everything!!
We enjoyed the Meet Bosnia Free Walking Tour so very much. Arna was an excellent guide, including a lot of historical and current information about Sarajevo (and Bosnia in general), but with a deeply personal touch that made it that much more inspiring and moving. She made sure to regularly ask if participants had questions, but we always had so many that we held back for time's sake. It was all just so engaging and interesting that we're considering booking a private tour so we can extend the conversation. She made a lot of recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and shopping, but there was zero pressure to buy anything (which was a relief after visiting Morocco) and participants are given a small guide at the end. We gladly tipped 20KM (10euro) each at the end in a small box quietly put out for that purpose. The day was quite hot, but Arna ensured there were opportunities to fill water bottles and stand in shade. Still remember to bring a bottle and wear sunscreen and/or cover up since you will be out in the sun.Highly recommended tour! Hvala! - Barry & Sunny from WA, USA
