My card had been paid in full since August of 2025. Then with no notice received $150 annual fee I immediately closed the account when I seen the charge and they refused to waive the fee. These people are crooks and I would completely stay away from them.

I was surprised to see a $150 annual membership fee charged to my account, which many other cards do not impose. I never received any email notification as claimed, and the company's lack of concern is disappointing. I've been a customer for a couple of years with no issues, aside from the high 30% interest rate. Unfortunately, I encountered a scam through social media where the company sent me counterfeit items. After contacting the relevant authorities, I filed a complaint with the FBI IC3, which I have documented. The support team did not assist me and claimed I received counterfeit products, leading to a denial of credit. It feels like the company does not support its customers, and I intend to escalate this matter further by filing complaints with the BBB and other regulatory bodies. I advise others to think twice before choosing subpar credit options as they can lead to significant losses!

Consistently Paid in Full Each Month

I have always paid my balance in full each month. While my balance decreased, they failed to update my credit balance promptly, unlike other credit card providers. When I called for clarification, they manually calculated and adjusted my balance instead of updating it correctly. I strongly advise against applying for this credit card service.

Always On Time, Yet High Interest Rates

I consistently pay my bills on time and have no complaints apart from their outrageous interest rates. With a credit score of 760, I still face a staggering 33% interest rate. I'm working to pay this off and won't be using it again.

MERCURY CARDS ARE A FRAUD

I've been a customer for several years without issues, aside from the exorbitant 30% interest! However, I was deceived on a social media platform, and the company sent me fake products. I contacted the appropriate authorities and filed a complaint, which I have documented. The company refused to support me, stating I received counterfeit items, leading to a denial of credit. They do not stand by their customers, and I plan to escalate this matter further by filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and banking regulators. I advise everyone to avoid subpar credit cards that will take advantage of you!

Avoid This Service at All Costs

I have eight credit cards and have never missed a payment. Despite my flawless record with this company since 2022, they informed me of an upcoming interest rate hike and a new annual fee of $99. I took out a personal loan to pay off six cards, but this company charged me $74 in interest that carried over to the next month's bill. They claim to assess interest daily, which is misleading. I find it ironic that they share a name with a toxic substance, and they are certainly living up to it!

Inconsistent Service and Declined Transactions

I got this card last year for a special trip that usually goes smoothly. However, this year I faced numerous issues, including repeated declines on small purchases. After laborious calls to resolve the situation, it happened again shortly after. If this continues, I will cut the card in half and return it, along with full payment! They claimed my payment was declined because I was using the card for meals at a casino. Who do they think they are, the morality police? It's absurd.
