Watch out when contacting them with anything business related..
Recent activity shows they are willing to censor real and honest reviews and are currently boosting their numbers with throwaway accounts.
In law, you need someone you can trust they have your best interest at heart.
You have 14 Million examples of Millberg only caring about a quick payday above their partners and customers.
Please. If You know what is good for you, avoid this lawfirm by any means necessary!
Steam is a company of gamers, built by gamers, for gamers. We use Steam because we want to. Steam provides the best services amongst all available options, and supports its customers and treats us fairly.
The class action lawsuit Milberg London LLP has initiated against Steam is utterly unjustified, and automatically opting-in all UK based gamers was a duck move.
News of your establishment's actions has spread across the globe. WE STAND WITH STEAM.
You don't represent UK PC gamers at all. We all love Steam and Valve. Valve have created the best PC gaming store front out there. Steam operate the same way as multiple other digital marketplaces like EA, Epic games, Microsoft Xbox, etc. You can't buy products on their sites and buy DLC elsewhere either, this lawsuit makes zero sense and seems like an attempt at a cash grab by a greedy unscrupulous law firm and whoever you claim to represent...because it isn't us. Millions of satisfied customers would gladly testify on Valve's behalf.
I am a Steam user, and UK resident. So, Milberg London LLP claims to represent me the people in the tribunal against Valve Corporation. This review is legitimate.
This firm’s decision to pursue a tribunal against Valve comes across as bad-faith practice rather than genuine consumer advocacy. It attacks a company that many customers actively support and choose, while relying on a representative claim that does not reflect the views of a large portion of the user base. The arguments feel stretched, ideological, and disconnected from how steam actually works, yet are being pushed forward anyway for scale and publicity.
Allowing a tribunal process to be used this way risks turning consumer law into a blunt instrument against consumer-friendly businesses, and this firm appears content to drive that outcome regardless of whether the people they claim to represent actually feel harmed.
Milberg London LLC are petitioning to remove legitimate reviews. They are leading this tribunal representing everyone who is a steam-user in the UK; so steam users in UK are leaving reviews as the people being represented.
Everyone loves steam. I haven't heard of a single person who actively hates steam or valve. Why are you sueing them? There's plenty of competition, but nobody uses the competition because they don't care about the consumers. Valve does. It's a free choice that me and many other PC gamers around the world choose. Even if another marketplace like Epic Games or Ubisoft or someone else offered me a game for free for ever, and steam offered the same game at a discount for lets say 10£, I'll still buy it on steam. Steam is just better. I have spoken to hundreds of people about this lawsuit that you are getting into, not one actually supports you. Our support is for valve.(yes i copied this text, but its goddamn true. credits to Jakub Palacký.)
