Review Time
I bought Misen pans on Kickstarter twice. The first one around 2020, sounded great but the coating had blisters after about two weeks. The second time was just recently their new model, as I fell for the marketing. One pan started to warp after a week, the other one just completely fell apart after a couple of weeks. Both were exchanged though, so no real complaints up to that point. The new ones lasted a bit longer, as I was waiting for the promise to kick in, that they would beomce more non stick over time. That didn't happen. After several month of seasoning them daily and following the instructions (preheat on low-medium), trying to make something simple like chicken breasts turns out to be a desaster. The other pan starts to smell like an old rusty engine.
When asking customer service about his they told me to season the pan and preheat it, clearly showing they didn't bother to read my eMail, in which I already wrote that I've been doing that every time.
Because of the exchange (and too much trust and patience) my purchase is now outside of the 60 day warranty window. I'd love to include pictures in this review but it's not possible, so I'll just say: Do not buy these.
I first purchased my Misen Dutch oven in 2021 as a kickstarter. I had to submit a warranty claim for chips on the enamel of my Dutch oven's handles, and I must say, this has been the easiest, hassle-less warranty process I have ever encountered! Emails were responded to within minutes. I couldn't be happier that I chose to invest in Misen, for my Dutch oven, skillet, and 2 kitchen knives. I couldn't be happier knowing the company 100% backs up their products. Its rare to find such excellent customer service. I'd give their customer service 6 stars if I could. Thank you Misen!!!
Right from the beginning, the customer experience and service have been outstanding. From the email reminder that "something is still in your cart" to the detailed updates after my purchase, I felt well taken care of. When I realized my order was mistakenly short, they quickly resolved the issue. Although I haven't used the products much yet, they appear to be of high quality so far. The representatives were truly remarkable.
I purchased a set of knives in 2018 when the company promised free lifetime sharpening. They have since gone back on this agreement and are not honoring the offer. I am currently filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities.
I have bought some pans and Dutch ovens from the company, and I am very impressed with the quality. I encountered a small issue with one of my orders, but their customer service responded immediately and fixed it. I will certainly keep ordering from them!

I ordered the carbon steel pans and preordered the lids. I didn't notice that the pans would only ship when the preordered lids were available, until I read the details on the website. I contacted the support team for assistance, and they promptly provided a solution along with extra kindness. I'm definitely going to continue with this company, not only for their quality products but also for the care they show their customers. Thank you!

The right tool makes any job easier. That’s especially true in the kitchen. The problem is, people have to choose between cheap, low-quality kitchen tools and overpriced “premium” brands.
Neither of these seemed like a good option, so we decided to make something better.
