Software with significant functionality issues

I recently acquired a VST plugin intended for use within a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), not as a standalone program. Fortunately, I tested it right after purchase and quickly noticed that several key features are non-functional. The "clean" button, along with other essential controls, are unresponsive, which disrupts my music production process significantly. When I reached out to the support team, they informed me that they are aware of these issues due to compatibility problems with a recent Mac OS update. However, it's unacceptable for a paid professional tool to still be sold while fundamental features have been broken for months. I received a refund, but my dissatisfaction with this software remains high.
