I cannot express this enough- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It was an absolute nightmare. All of the reviews stating extreme overpricing at the last minute, terrible communication, awful client services, lack of responding to calls, etc. are all valid and true. You will never get a call back from this company, you’ll have to follow up on your own and they are very unwilling to help. I would give negative 5 stars if that was an option. Please safe yourself the hassle and money and use another service.

The bad reviews are true. Below there is a summary of the complaints about Movesafe relocation. They are very fast only for getting your money. After thar everything is bad. Their bait tactics are extreme and total lack of ethics. The first sales rep is very nice and provides a very cheap quote, but after you do the initial payment they start to increase several times. One rep call you to do confirm the initial inventory and tellsyou “ohh that was not in the initial lust, I have to charge more”. Then 2 days before picking up they call you again and go through the inventory and again “Ohh that was not in the list, I have to charge more”. Then the guys that are picking your stuu arrives and guess what? Exactly! “That was not in the list” and yes, they charge you more. From an initial quote of around 2K now is mor than 5K!!!! I asked several times when they do delivered and they told in 2-3 days. Even the person doing the picking up confirms that. I told him, can you delivered faster? And he says no, but 3 days as the most you will have it. Now they are telling me that they will use like a week to evaluate when they can deliver and they have up to 30 days to deliver. They never tells you that in advance even if you ask. I just hope that the mishandling and hostage tactics are not true,but now I expect the worst1. Inventory Tripling: One customer reported an estimate jumping from $1,675 to over $6,700 during a finalization call two days before the move.Cubic Feet Disputes: Multiple reviews describe movers arriving and claiming the load exceeds the quoted cubic footage, sometimes doubling or tripling the price.Hidden Fees: Reported extra charges include fees for "tape and tarps," "long carries," and unloading items from a larger truck into a smaller one due to site access. 2. Delivery and Handling IssuesReviews often highlight poor accountability once items are in the hands of third-party carriers. Damaged/Missing Goods: Customers have reported smashed boxes, broken furniture (e.g., snapped table legs, chipped dressers), and missing items.Lengthy Delays: While sales reps may promise delivery within days, some customers waited over 30 days to receive their belongings."Hostage" Tactics: Some reviewers claim they were forced to pay the increased balance in cash or money order before the movers would even open the truck doors to unload.
I’m so glad I read the reviews before going with this company. At first, he gave me a very low price, which sounded great. But after about 20 minutes of discussing what I needed to put in the truck, he started pressuring me to pay a deposit immediately.He sent me a link to a website for instant quotes and had me enter a two-bedroom move, even though I only need a 10-foot truck. When the quotes came back at $3,000–$5,000, I knew something was wrong. I went back and entered the correct truck size, and the quote dropped significantly—then he suddenly “beat” that price.The more he talked, the more obvious it became. He claimed he doesn’t earn commission, which actually made me laugh. Between that and his degrading sales-pitch voice, I knew for sure this was a scam.I checked the reviews and found an overwhelming number of negative ones across the internet. When I told him I’d changed my mind because of the reviews, he told me to “look at the reviews for Disneyland” and launched into a rambling comparison about restaurant customers being scammers. I wasn’t really listening—I was too busy reading the bad reviews.I eventually had to hang up because he just wouldn’t stop talking. Completely obnoxious. Thank God I know better than to fall for this kind of nonsense.
these 'moving brokers' did not close. they just rebranded to "move safe relocation". i don't know who has trained them on anything, but they are massively unprofessional and will harass you if they happen to get your phone number from online forms. one of their employees was incredibly unprofessional with me and i wrote reviews and now the person claiming to run the show has been harassing my phone via text message and voicemail asking me to remove my reviews because my reviews are impacting their business negatively. which is funny because they have already emailed me and said that i don't have to change my review but they said so in like a dry begging way lol like as if they're fake niceness was going to make me remove it even though my review was warranted and completely fair. stay far away from this company, they are abusive and they are scammers. and as you see below, they have tons of negative reviews. i also made an attempt to review them on another website and the website even says that you cannot review them because they're positive review reviews came from the same ip address meaning that they were creating different profiles to leave their own positive reviews lol how sad and weird. *alert this company has renamed to move safe relocations to avoid negative reviews left for previous company name. evades reviews and harasses people via phone. this company attempts to make reviewing their company impossible (hence they don't have a google listing or Facebook, although if you check Facebook you’ll see many people mention them in statuses that look much like the reviews you’ll find here) and will ask you to remove negative reviews so they can keep scamming people* avoid move safe relocation or it will cost you.
Walter and his crew were extremely professional and very friendly. Him and his guy arrived on time and got to straight to work. Very impressed on how much care was taken into handling everything. Highly recommend move safe relocation and cobra vanlines moving systems to anyone moving local or long distance. These guys are amazing
On first call they low balled me. I was also told by Shane that if other companies call me, tell them that I am no longer moving. By doing this, other moving companies will stop calling me. 2 weeks later and 3 days before my move, I was told that I need to pay almost $3000 more. I called customer service and they offered me a $100 refund.
This was a scam from beginning til end. Im grateful I actually received my items. I specifically asked during initial phone call if my items would be on a semi truck ...was told no. I was led to believe my items would be transported on the same truck not moved around to different trucks. No telling how many times my things were moved from one truck to another. The different movers use different names..who you pay is not who they really are. My end bill was doubled from the original quote. First quote $2200. Get a call to review my items beginning to tell me things are not on thd bill of laden that were initially discussed....like a dryer..addl $400 for more space. Then movers arrive. They up the bill another $1500. Stating that everything will have to be packaged by them and that I still didn't have enough space. Along the way I was scammed out of some insurance money another $200. Now I cant even locate the Move Shield company the check was made out to. In the end I did receive my items. I dont have alot of cherished items. But they broke my grandmother's glass pitcher a glass cup ...its irreplaceable. Do not use this company. Ive read the reply...I contacted your customer support team during the process and was treated poorly and hung uo on twice during the process...so how do you want to handle this...very unprofessional company
