When I discovered Yukon Designs and their beautiful, heartfelt sculptures I was thrilled to have found "the perfect gift" for my daughter.
When I saw the sculpture "Woman Kissing Floppy Ear Dog" I immediately knew this would be a treasured reminder of her precious dog Steve. She had recently suffered the loss of her awesome orange dog Steve who had been her dearest friend and constant companion for almost 15 years.
I can't say enough praise for Yukon Designs and especially for Martin who so kindly and promptly responded to my emails and an addition to my order.
The sculpture is high quality workmanship and heart touching. My daughter loves it, I love it, and it is the perfect reminder of many happy pup-kissed years with Steve, our precious orange dog. Thank you, Martin and the Yukon Designs sculptors, for your wonderful creations and being such nice folks to do business with.
This company offers a fantastic selection. I've purchased several items as gifts, and they've all been warmly welcomed. One friend mentioned that it was among the first items placed in their new home. The sizes of the carvings are small and ideal for gifting. If you encounter any issues, the response is prompt, which is often not the case elsewhere. Truly a great business!
I ordered two handmade door stoppers directly from a website, featuring rat and lizard designs. My disappointment cannot be overstated. While I understand handmade items can vary, I expected them to at least resemble the images shown online in terms of size, shape, and overall look. Unfortunately, this was not the case for what I received. Additionally, the door stoppers are very lightweight and ineffective for keeping doors open. The quality of the crochet work is poor, with the stuffing clearly visible. The customer service is unacceptable; I reached out to the company twice over 12 days without a response. When they finally did reply, they directed me to follow the instructions on the Returns Page, which was unhelpful, as that page advises contacting customer service for a Return Merchandise Authorization number. I have sent three follow-up emails in the three weeks since and have yet to receive any response.
It appears to be a scam. The items are overpriced and can be found at much cheaper places. They are made in China rather than the United States. The customer service is lacking. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges because my return request was handled poorly. The items I returned were sent back to me because the address listed on their website was vacant and couldn't be forwarded.
I purchased two exquisite handmade carvings: 1) Man & Dog and 2) Sitting Woman & Cuddly Cat. I was truly impressed by the outstanding, flawless quality of the items. Additionally, I appreciated the prompt customer service; they quickly sent me replacements for the defective pieces. I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking to buy unique gifts.
Bought the dog with woman for my daughter after she had to have her beloved dog put to sleep. She cried when she saw it, but loves and treasures it. Beautifully made great gift I ordered a gift bag, good quality nice addition to the carvings
I received a wonderful carving from a friend as a surprise. There was no card, I contacted the company for a name, so I could thank them. Within 2 hours of sending email I received a very nice response with the name. I will definitely shop there.
