Review Time
To begin - the product is truly authentic. They are less expensive than freeze-dried “single-course” meals by Mountain House and others. These MREs are comprehensive, nutritious and more calorie-packed than the backpacker freeze-dried ones, they don’t require any independent heat source (like for boiling water for example) as they have their own chemical rxn packet that requires about a tablespoon or so of water [even during unpotable water will work] to activate and, at least the 4 MREs I had on my last trip, the dish comes out HOT. The biggest and most major downside of the MREs is their weight. Not crazy weight considering everything in one of these things including a napkin, utensil, seasoning and a dessert but for backpacking you’d think about it. I have had good experiences with this company but their delivery is not like many have become used to with a one-day Amazon Prime. But what you het for the price is worth it in IMO. Some things to look out for with OTHER companies that I learned about as traps for the unwary are legit MREs that are beyond their bazillion year expiration date or product that’s a replica wanna-be.
The mre is you get in the package is not what they advertise. There is not everything that comes in the standard mre. I ordered 100 of them for camping trips and lunches. Only to find out the heating packs don't even work. I hope no one ever orders from them.
As a US Army veteran, I know exactly what MRE are supposed to be because I lived on the damn things for quite some time and these things are straight knock offs. There’s no candy no white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. None of the delicious pound cakes they don’t have the Tabasco sauce, the matches the gum like these things are not genuine. MRE this place is trying to get people that don’t know better to buy this shot and the packaging ain’t what it’s supposed to be to make it last for an extended period of time. I urge people to stay the fudge away from this place I bought 2 -96 pack cases and I cannot believe what I got
Mresworld after they shipped me mres that were not on any govt approved mres menu and were several years old it has the package date of 2021 on the box and every single one of the meals in there were just horrible you cant eat them . I wrote to the company and they just said well they are good for up to 10 years so we ship them out up to 10 years old and were moving off of the regular mres to this new knock off brand that tastes just HORRIBLE. And well tough if you got that. Thas pertty much how the email went after I told them and and sent pics of the mres to them they just never responded back and told me hey we deliver up to 10 years old on these.. so remember that when you order from this company

Be very careful of this company. The products we received were outdated. Then, they tried to ship us more outdated crap, charged my credit card, and said I ordered it.....which I didn't. I would not do business with this company. Poorly run. Outdated products. Bait and switch. Caveat Emptor!
At first I was mortified after ordering the 48 pack MRE's after seeing the add on Facebook because the BBB and Google Gemini were telling me they didnt recognize the email address I received from MREsworld and that the site was most likely a scam site- this couldnt be farther from the truth. I actually recieved my order incredibly fast , 3 days! The courier they used OnTrac was unknown to me and I Googled them and the reviews were horrid mostly but again other than them leaving my order in the building entrance it was quick. Im leaving this review because if youre worried , you do not have to be. I had turned off my credit card immediately after i researched mresworld fearing it was a scam but again it is not.
MREs World advertised on Facebook.My order was placed on November 13, 2025.Today is November 19, 2025.Their website states that a tracking number will be received within 24 hours of placing the order and shipment received within 1 to 3 business days.No tracking number has been received.No product has been delivered.There has been no communication about a shipping delay or product backlogs.** Update**On November 19, 2025, an email was sent to MREsWorld requesting an order status update.A reply was received on November 20, 2025 apologizing for the delay and stating that they would email once the order had been shipped.I replied back on Nov 20 advising that I wished to cancel my order since their website stated that a tracking# would be received within 24 hours and the order delivered within 3-5 business days.MREsWorld replied back almost immediately on Nov 20 stating that all back orders would ship by Friday, Nov 21, 2025 and do I still want to cancel.Also on Nov 20, I affirmed that I still wanted to cancel.MREsWorld replied back about an hour later stating that my order had been cancelled and that $60.01 would be refunded back to my payment method.My refund was received on November 22, 2025.
