Review Time
This is a great resource for any level of musician- music is easy to search through, and there is enough of a preview/sample page to know what you are getting and whether its level-appropriate. Plus, being able to have it transposed to a different key is amazing. The selection is wide, and the instruments/levels available for each song is as well.
I have tried everything to print my music bit all failed. using W10, Chrome and Epson XP 8500.After two days I discovered why. Apparently Epson and Microsoft include adding printers in their updates.I had wondered why my print program had kept chosing Note. I now now it was because somehow MS Note printer software had been installed along with an Epson printer. I managed to delete these, and then everting was fine and my wife now has her print of Pachebel.I apologise to Music notes vor my previous incorrect review.
Musicnotes has every musical piece I need. Whenever I get inspired by a song, old or new, or have a request for a performance, Musicnotes has what I need. I really appreciate the transposed versions and the original song keys being available, as well. Musicnotes has helped me to easily expand my musical repertoire.
This is a follow up to my previous complaint. It looks like the site has been updated, or am I mistaken? If so, the response I received about the site being under maintenance was a bold faced lie. You still only get 1 page to preview and the remainder of the pages are partially blurred out. the side notations give the range, but there is no way to check the arrangement or see key changes, lyrics, etc. What a perfectly horrible thing to do to such a wonderful and trusted site. Now they want you to pay for the product before you can see it! Yeah, that's gonna work for a lot of people. That's how I buy shoes... I try on one shoe, I'm not allowed to tie it or see or even try on the other shoe, but the store expects me to buy the pair... Does that really make sense to anyone? Shame on you! Shame.I'll have to look for another site that trust people with whom they work. I'll never use this site again! I have no idea what to tell my students, but hopefully one of them can lead us to another site we can truly trust.
I very much enjoy the musicnotes website! It's very easy to use and has a great selection of music. However, I don't appreciate the fact that I can only sample the first page of the music. I find it a little bit upsetting just because I don't really get to see what I am purchasing before I buy it. Coming from someone that has some experience with piano and purchasing/downloading music online, I really like it when I get to preview the whole song, just so I know that I for sure want to go through with my purchase. Other than that, I really do like musicnotes and will continue to use it! :)
Musicnotes has an excellent variety of music, has an easy purchase/download/print process and gives the opportunity for savings with coupons included in their newsletter and membership in a Musicnotes savings program. It also has multiple levels of the same song so there is something for everyone. I use the site a couple of times a month, at least, and it's the quickest way to get exactly what I want!
