Musicnotes has been my go-to website for purchasing music for myself and for students. Finding "free" music on the internet steals from the artist, and the music itself is often sub-par with multiple errors. I can always count on Musicnotes to provide quality music, in multiple levels, and their customer service is fantastic!
Musicnotes is my first go-to for downloadable sheet music, especially contemporary song literature. I find the transposable option particularly useful, as I am a singing teacher, and my students range through all voice types. The downloadable feature means that I can get the music right away, and allows me to email it to my students. I recommend Musicnotes whenever a student is trying to find contemporary music or music theater songs. I also find it useful for songs in the public domain.
I had never used a music score sight before - when I had a problem they have a good chat system to guide you if you need help. I am not too computer savvy. The cost does not seem unreasonable and they seem to have a vast number of tunes!
It's the only site that I know of that has the applications to interact with the music. Change keys, silence different instruments etc...I gave you a 10 even though I can't use the loping feature on my Windows 10 computer. I was assured that it was in the works. Your support group is the best. They even added a piece of music in the key that I needed so that I could purchase the piece in that key. Thank you ...
Great service to help Great musicians find Great music! Such an easy way to shop for music. Can't thank you enough for providing such a great service to us all. The ability to transpose and instantly print in so many different keys is fantastic. Before musicnotes.com, I was hand-writing music, which took forever. Or, I was typing lyrics and figuring out chord symbols to place over the lyrics. So very, very time-consuming! Who's got time for that these days? You are literally a lifesaver!
More often than note, I am able to find the scores for a wide variety of music on musicnotes.com. I am a high school choral music director, and, a Director of Worship Arts at a large Black Baptist Church. Needless to say, my musical needs are wide and diverse. I am very pleased with the services provided by musicnotes. They have certainly made my professional life easier. It is also significant to note, that their prices are very competitive. I like Musicnotes because:1. It's very convenient.2. No waiting, . . can print it up right away ( if you're not out of ink, but even if you are, no biggy, they will hold it for you until you are able to print it) 3. They give you typically multiple options of levels of difficulty, and keys, and sometimes tailored versions for specific instruments .4. You have the option to hear it. It will play all the pages for you if you like.5.Cost is reasonable. I use Paypal .
Downloaded free version Musicscore apps form iStore. In about one month was charged $15.00. When tried to call them - no one picked the phone, forcing me to leave a message. Left a message (twice) but no one called me back. Last option for me to communicate and discuss this issue was email. They refused to remove charge so I was forced to contact my credit card. Never again dealing with Musicnotes.com.
