Very easy to print, nice that it offered confirmation; although our printer chose to work on this occasion anyway. Phew! Also easy to save the PDF. Didn't actually see the option to save immediately but usually use Ctrl+S keys by default anyway, which worked a treat. So great first experience and our son is delighted and currently practicing for something he has to perform in school as I type. Cheers, Trevor
This digital service is very good, and always asks if the music printed successfully. It give a high quality copy of the music, and you can select your key of choice, as well as listen to the version of you chosen title to check if it's the one you intended to purchase.
Whilst I still love to support my local music store, the variety required is not always available. Musicnotes.com has a great range available, some music even has different versions for different musical abilities. The key is able to be changed, an advantage for vocalists (and something not available in a music shop) and its available with just a few clicks, if you have a printer!
As a dancer/singer, i often have to buy sheet music for auditions, and often in different keys. But as someone in the arts, money doesn't come by easily, so the fact that if my crappy printer refuses to print, i have genuinely no other options and can never get my sheet music!!!The fact that i have to pay MORE money just to save the music that i've already paid for is outrageous. So bc of that, there's no actual way for me to get my sheet music in person bc i can't send it to someone else to print, or take it on a USB to print at the shops or something. If i've paid $10 for (quality) sheet music that i can crappily buy somewhere else for $4, i expect to be able to save the bloody thing. All other places/sites include the download when you buy it, so if you wanna tell me yall charge extra bc of "honouring the rights of the artist" or whatever, how about you just add the download price to the original price?????I mean, more than $2 just to save it is utterly ridiculous.
Even though I had some issues with customer service (the only bad part of my experience), Musicnotes does provide really good digital music, and the pricing is fair (what I call good value for the money). The website is easy to navigate. The music available to purchase can be previewed and for the most part you get a good idea of what it is you're purchasing. The app is good and does need improving but it can get you through in a pinch.
