Review Time
The Freebird razor works well on the tiny stubble, just move it in small circular motions. It’s quiet and easy to handle, gives a great shave on all body parts. I did find that the razor covers are difficult to open but it’s getting slightly easier. The company is responsive and supportive. Overall I’m happy with it.
I initially ordered a Freebird shaver over a year ago. I got the subscription. After receiving heads a few times, we decided to cancel the subscription because the replacement heads were coming before they were necessary. 6 weeks later, we got another delivery. I figured maybe I messed something up. So I emailed support and they canceled it for me, but it was another set we didn't need/want at that point and had to pay for.
I restarted the subscription before Christmas. After the 2nd delivery, we decided to cancel again. The price, even with the subscription discount, is just too much and we didn't need 3 new heads every 6 weeks. So I went in to the dashboard, canceled and this time, I went back in to confirm it was canceled. It did, in fact, say subscription canceled. 6 weeks later, I get an email saying my delivery is on its way. I contact support and tell them i canceled it and I don't want it. They tell me that its already processed, so I can return them myself or pay $7.95 for them to have them shipped back. I tell them I dont want to pay for shipping for something I canceled and checked to make sure I canceled, since this was the second time.
They basically said, sorry you're frustrated, but too bad.
So now, I'm wondering if I did actually cancel the first time, but this is how they screw you over into getting another month or more out of you- I've had the same problem with the Shinesty subscription.
At this point, I'll throw out the whole razor and get something else.
It's just deceptive to me. I'll pay the money for the return, but I'm completely done with the company at this point.
This shaver works well, but it's not the right fit for me. It causes discomfort on the face, and likely elsewhere, unless used with some cream. Additionally, be aware that purchasing it means you'll be automatically enrolled to receive two new blades every eight weeks at around $5 each, totaling about $46. If that arrangement works for you, it’s a good shaver; however, I wouldn't recommend it for facial use, especially without cream.
Deceptive practices! I purchased a Christmas gift and unexpectedly found myself being charged for two shaver heads due to a hidden subscription. I reached out to the payment service to cancel all transactions and request a refund. I'm disputing these fraudulent subscriptions that I never signed up for. Very disappointing experience.
After a long wait, I got my head shaver and was instantly impressed with my first few uses. Now that I've added some pre-shave oil, the experience has improved even more. The oil makes the process incredibly smooth and helps achieve fantastic results.
I've owned my shaver for quite a while, and it continues to perform exceptionally well. The blades have a long lifespan, and it's simple to replace them when necessary. The customer service is outstanding; they respond promptly and strive to resolve any issues you might encounter. I would certainly recommend this company!
As a newcomer to shaving my bald head, I recently bought a new shaver after going through many reviews. The experience with this shaver has been fantastic; it made shaving my head easy and efficient. The customer support from the company is excellent and very responsive.
The reply I received was just a repeat of what was sent in previous emails! It didn't resolve anything, even after I followed the provided instructions. I ended up with a sore on my neck for a week after using the third motor from you. The motor doesn't operate at the necessary speed for the blades to function properly, resulting in hair being pulled out and causing sores!
I’ve had a wonderful experience with the service. They are prompt in providing assistance, and when issues arise, they are incredibly friendly and do their best to resolve them, even if it’s not their fault. The ladies' razor I received came with five free attachments. It shaves quickly, smoothly, and cleanup is a breeze. This has been the best deal I’ve ever encountered when ordering products, and it performs excellently. I’m very satisfied, and this is my second order with them.
This model surpasses its predecessor. It's quieter, and the battery life is impressive. I shave daily for several days and previously used only water in the shower. Now, I apply pre-shave gel and oil. It requires a bit of time but results in a close shave. I still use a blade on certain areas as I get accustomed to this shaver. Overall, I'm pleased with it.
