Caution! Stay away from this service at all costs. They offer no information that you can't easily find online; it’s all just public data. Furthermore, canceling the service is a hassle. I tried to cancel, but my subscription was renewed anyway, and I was charged. Despite multiple attempts to get a refund, I was only told that my service wouldn’t renew automatically after this cycle. I ended up paying for a subscription I never wanted.
WARNING! Avoid joining this service. They provide only information that is publicly available and easily accessible through a search engine. Moreover, canceling the service is nearly impossible. I attempted to cancel, but they renewed my subscription and charged me anyway. My attempts to get a refund have been met with responses saying my service won’t auto-renew after this cycle, leaving me with charges I never intended to incur.
I signed up for a free trial despite some red flags. They had some of my background information but were missing over 50%. I canceled on the same day and sent an email confirming my cancellation, stating I did not want a subscription or any charges. A month later, they started billing me. I'm still trying to get them to reverse the charge and adhere to the law.
Is this service even trying? I searched my own name and was shocked by the number of inaccuracies. They claim I'm still married to someone I divorced over 26 years ago, and my current spouse isn't mentioned at all. My address is still listed at a former residence from about five years ago, and there are names of relatives listed that I don't recognize. The wait time with the status bar is frustrating. I can't believe there aren't serious lawsuits against this service.
I'm yet another customer who canceled before my trial ended, but they keep billing me $29.95 each month. There's no cancellation option on the website while I'm logged in, and they never respond to my emails. Their toll-free number just tells you to send an email and then disconnects. UPDATE - Their reply shows they didn’t even read my review that clearly states they ignore emails.
I can't believe I signed up for their services. After joining, I found they provide no valuable details and require additional funds. I requested a refund, but the only response I got was that they set me up for non-renewal. They don't respond to my complaints, and they claim I have three new people searching for me, with the most recent being in February 2025. Total lies!
They charge you even after you cancel your subscription. Someone created an account under my name with a fake photo years ago. I signed up for a free trial to remove the photo and erroneous information, but after canceling, I am still being billed $29.95 a month for a service I don’t use. I have no choice but to cancel my card since neither the bank nor the service will refund the fraudulent charges.
Do not waste your money; they should be paying you for the falsehoods they present as truth. Not a single item on my profile or my family’s was accurate. This is the worst people search service I've ever encountered, and it should be taken down. If I printed out a report, it wouldn't even be useful for toilet paper!
