Unfortunately the test didn't work for me even though I'm used to taking blood tests for diabetes (glucose). It's a great idea and wouldn't neglect it on one outcome. I do however ever have regular blood tests through the doctors mainly for rheumatology blood full count is taken which I have full access to.
Really happy with my experience on the at home heart test really simple and easy to do and the results was incredible and the team was very helpful highly recommended
I received the test a couple of days after ordering it. A tiny prick of the finger, and a short wait, and I was shown to have high cholesterol. I had no symptoms. Very glad I found this test. The more fat in your blood, the higher the blood reaches on the scale if you like.
I made a mess of a test and Pocdoc very fairly sent me another. That was impressive. I have trouble using the pipette, a case of overflow(!) but it's a good accurate test. I use it in France as well when travelling. You have to remember to download the app first before leaving the UK. It's a useful tool for managing cholesterol.
This is a great piece of kit especially if you can't get to the drs £20 is a bit expensive to me but at the end of day your health comes first, it's easy to follow the instructions the only part that baffled a lot of us was the qr code was on the outside of the box not inside.
Warning regarding test result discrepancies: After using a finger-prick test from my health insurance, my cholesterol level was 8. The free kit from my online pharmacy indicated just over 5. Since it uploads results to a health management platform, I thought it was reliable. I was mistaken, as my doctor’s blood test confirmed my level is 8! Even the replacement kit showed just over 5. Such inconsistencies could have serious health implications. I expect significant legal issues to arise from this.
Inconsistencies in test results! After using a finger-prick test from my health insurance, my cholesterol level was 8. However, the free kit from the online pharmacy showed just over 5. Since it uploads results to a health management platform, I thought it was accurate. I was wrong, as my doctor's blood test confirmed my level is 8! Even the replacement kit from the pharmacy showed just over 5. Such discrepancies could seriously impact lives. I foresee significant legal challenges arising from this.
This is quite frustrating; I'm now on my fourth round of testing, and the results keep coming back invalid. I continue to receive a free kit to retest, yet it always returns invalid. There was plenty of blood, and I followed all the instructions, yet the results remain invalid. What should I do?
