I've wanted to find an ethical producer for loo rolls for some time and decided to try this company now known as Naked Paper. I would highly recommend them, service is great and their ethical approach is to be highly commended with the little emails they send from time to time keeping you informed of their current practises and new products they are developing. I bought a bulk year supply which worked out the most economical and I know next year they will contact me and remind me as/ when I need to re- order. The paper is brown which is a bit weird getting used to but I don't care what colour it is as long as it is ethically sourced and produced with as little impact to the environment as possible. It is strong as most brands maybe not as soft as some but perfectly acceptable. It lasts well , about the same as any other brand I've bought. Highly recommended if you want to do your " less impact on the planet" bit.
So far I have just bought some rolls of Paper towels, but as I am very happy with those I think I will switch to Naked paper for my toilet roll supply too. It is manufactured in Spain which is much closer than China, the alternative for "eco" toilet rolls.
Why would any one buy virgin toilet paper that destroys forest, wildlife and the environment when you can buy great eco toilet paper like this. It's a no brainer, it should be the law to buy recycled paper. Plus I love the natural colour, better for your skin, better for the environment and looks great in the loo.
We switched over from Who Gives A Crap in 2020 after questioning why they wrap every loo roll individually: apparently, to "keep them moisture-free and hygienic." In contrast, Naked Paper's toilet paper doesn't require that extra packaging waste. We've not looked back! We're "Team Naked Paper"!
I use the recycled non bleached loo rolls, tissues and kitchen rolls. Am really happy with all of these products. They all do what they should and the products are quite strong. Great having them delivered in bulk to save postage and its a good feeling to know they are as environmentally friendly as possible.
I switched to Naked Paper after seeing an Ad by environmentalist Chris Packham. The order arrived quick and packed sensibly so I can store my 4 months supply easy. It works just like we expect loo paper to work, actually fits the colour of my bathrooms well. There’s no reason NOT to use this . It’s as good as white , cheaper and way WAY better for our planet .
