I had a mastopexy (breast lift) on the first of December last year, and I truly couldn’t be happier with the results. From my very first consultation, Mr Patel was warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. He immediately put me at ease with his kindness and his clear depth of knowledge and experience. I felt completely confident that I was in very capable hands.
He explained everything thoroughly, including the realistic limitations, and set clear expectations ahead of surgery — which made me feel fully informed and reassured. Despite being honest and measured about the likely outcome, he actually exceeded my expectations. He took the time to ask detailed questions and made sure we were fully aligned on what I wanted to achieve, which I really appreciated.
Communication throughout the entire process was excellent. All appointments were well organised through his PA, and even after surgery — over the busy Christmas period — both Kristina and Mr Patel were readily available and supportive. They were always responsive and helpful, and I never once felt like I was being a bother.
Overall, my experience has been outstanding, and I’m absolutely delighted with my outcome.

From the moment I met Mr Patel at my first consult his professionalism, compassion and care were clearly above and beyond any expectations. My enthusiasm has led me to be the Co-Lead for Innovation for the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). I am also one of a few nationally selected NHS Clinical Entrepreneurs with NHS England. I have gained numerous prizes for research papers and innovations and have been appointed as a Lecturer at the University of Manitoba, Canada. At present, I am in the process of inventing new surgical instruments that will help improve outcomes.
I am the author of two medical textbooks, one of which has been translated into Cantonese with Radcliffe and Blackwell Publishing Ltd. I am currently writing a textbook, ‘Core Surgical Procedures at a Glance: Plastic Surgery’, to help train junior plastic surgeons. In addition, I have written three book chapters, six educational surgical videos and contributed to three surgical apps. I have also written over thirty peer reviewed papers and presented at over twenty national and international conferences.
The keystone of my practice is patient safety. I strive to ensure that best practice is followed in every procedure that I undertake.
